CFD Wheatley Services

Today and tomorrow:
  • Visitation is scheduled for 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Firefighters will line up for a walk past the casket at 6:30 p.m.

    A service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 9 a.m. before a 10:30 a.m. mass is offered at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, 10234 S. Washtenaw.

Remembrances and prayers only here.

loss of our friend, brother, and

I have been to a few fires while on the job and have always admired how those guys went into the smoke and fire. God Bless this firefighter and his family and all first responders.

I ran into a burning building during the fire strike and rescued a bunch of people; I NEVER want to do that again. The CFD has my utmost respect. Godspeed, FF Wheatley, may you rest in peace.

There was this women at FF Wheatley's Funeral today who stated to Jfed as he was walking past her.....When are going to resign. I almost spit my water out. GOD BLESS you lady!
