Another Innocent Child

  • A 16-year-old Bowen High School student was charged as an adult in the Wednesday murder of his classmate Deantonio Goss, police said Friday.

Pharaoh Morris of Chatham faces first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm charges for allegedly shooting Goss and an 18-year-old friend about 3 p.m. Wednesday about a half-mile from school.

  • Detectives said Goss' slaying stemmed from an ongoing dispute between rival factions of a gang. During school hours Wednesday there was an altercation between those groups. Morris was involved in the incident and was sent home, police said.

"Instead of staying home, [Morris] returned to the area armed with the intent of mixing it up with members of the rival factions," Weis said. "Unfortunately, he encountered Goss and his companion on the way to go back to school and decided to take his revenge on them as they walked home."

Unfortunately? If you run the dead guy, he seems to have a record pretty long for his years. And most of the arrests involve his being suspended, then waiting outside of school to jump rival gang members. Maybe he got what he had coming?

And this just makes us wonder:
  • Goss was the first Chicago Public School student killed so far this school year. The shooting came two days into a new program designating "Safe Passage" corridors around Bowen and 22 other high schools. While the shooting did not occur on a Safe Passage route, volunteers called 911 when they heard the shots, police said.
Safe Passage? That's the $66 million boondoggle being overseen by Huberman, right? And where the hell was the Crystal Ball Unit on this one? Dropping the ball already?

I did hear the Chicago Police Superintendent talk about the youth early demise. He sounded like a religious minister eulogy. The Superintendent speaks in platitudes.
His speeches sound totally prepared.
They are careful to be politically correct.
Question: Is this an act, or does this man actually believe his own bullshit ?

I saw these "safe passage" guys. They are getting paid to be "Dads." They are doing a bad job too. Saw a guy in his vest sitting down, possibly sleeping. So, now, they get paid to have kids, paid to raise their kids (if you are an outsider, or work the north side, they get an hourly wage to babysit there own kids, I have seen the gov't checks)and now a check to get them to school safely. After that it become difficult, they get free college, and then start the cycle over again. Meeks will start paying them for the CO2!!!

Instead the media makes him look like 'student of the year'. WTF is wrong with the media? Why don't they report the WHOLE story for once? One more criminal we won't have to pay to incarcerate is all he was. Piece of shit. Good riddance.

Notice how this fraud police-impersonator superintendent tries to throw slang ("mix it up")in these 'news conferences' an effort to give himself credibility.

Hey, citizens. The next time YOUR loved one/neighbor/whatever gets killed, demand that Jody meet the media. What, YOUR loss isn't good enough?

Sit back and enjoy this. He is done. But we get to watch him hopelessly beg for a little while.

Jody: keep pumping up and wearing the muscle shirts. Everyone really thinks that's cool. Really. That could help you save your job.

I thought that is was funny when J-Fled said that the only reason this shooter was caught was because of the bonds that CPD formed with the Board of Education. Bullshit, the administrators would have called the police anyway when they found out who the shooter was.

when we were kids we had a lot of males in the family as a whole--- the family would have get togethers around the holidays and a set of boxing gloves was always on hand because inevitably there would be a little dust up between brothers, cousins, etc... the old man would make the combatants put the gloves on and you went into the back yard for a couple of rounds--- usually someone got a bloody nose or a fat lip and that was the end of it, everyone was friends again--- maybe the cps should use that 66 million for some boxing gloves---

Wasn't the father of deceased CPS student part of that scam organization Cease Fire?

Protecting your child begins at home with the parents not with some CPS paid mope who is looking for an easy pay check.

More of Chicago Bizarro World!

The police and other good like minded people must form (or buy) media outlets to reveal the truth.
