On the topic of Tea Party... there are a few small groups that give the Tea Party a bad name.
There are always people that interpret situations the wrong way and interject their own philosophies into the movement.
Yet when certain groups do something questionable it's ignored or excused, when other groups do something questionable, it's a confirmation of their evil plot.
It amazes me that so much hypocrisy cannot be seen... or is it that they do see it, but know no one else does?

I guess it's mostly because we can't trust the mainstream media to report the news stories HONESTLY and without prejudice. Not that WE don't show some prejudice on our part, as well, but that is usually on the part of the commenter's and not you, SCC. We'll be around for the next 12 million as well.

Also happy to say an hour ago I refused to sign Rahm Emmanuel petition to get on mayoral ballot. They're hitting Millenium Park and the Loop as we speak and it didn't appear that folks were swarming to sign.

I am in Law Enforcement in the Rockford area and have had the pleasure working with CPD on a few occasions. I must say I have never had a negative experience. I stop by this site at least three times a week. Keep up the good work!
You know, SCC, there are monetization solutions out there that could allow earnings (probably, significant earnings) to be generated from the blog...
... and before you cut me off, if you don't want to profit yourself, you can donate those earnings to a charity of your choice, use various affiliate programs to promote law enforcement products and services, etc.
You command a god-awful lot of eyeballs, sir. An affiliate program or two, you could write a big, big check to a police charity, perhaps in support of a desired political cause... Might want to consider it.
