del Valle Denies Dropping Out

  • City Clerk Miguel del Valle held a news conference Monday to deny a published report that he was angling to pull out of the race for mayor.

In a column in Sunday’s Sun-Times, Michael Sneed wrote that del Valle “is negotiating for a top position with the Chicago Public Schools in exchange for his exit from the mayoral race.”

Del Valle suggested that an opponent had deliberately fed Sneed a false tip.

“Under no circumstances will I leave the race for mayor,” he said. “The rumor that is circulating is a political trick that is being used to negatively affect our campaign, and I will not permit such a rumor to circulate … I want to assure the public that we are in the race until the end, and that we are going to win this race.”

Since they've effectively split the black candidates, time to work on the Hispanic coalitions. What are they offering Chico?

I will give him credit for 1 thing, when he was elected clerk he never took CPD drivers/valets he stated to many "I am a man and can drive myself, the other day I was at 51st getting car serviced,in pulled valle in crown vic getting that car serviced no drivers! laski had what 6 people on his detail 3 cars, now valle has none! Why does burke the treasurer neely (The one who tried to sue Mike Shields for speaking the truth about her corruption),and others have extremely well paid valets, all paid out of cpd budget at sergeants pay and pension ability? Also noticed on tyhe change order that the guy who worked at 35th and Normal dispatching daleys entourage of drivers has bid to Midway and is telling others he left before being pushed out,and all of daleys drivers are "panicked" now that the "picnic" is over! Welcome to the real world boys and girls D-1 pay and reality! Now don't cry like babies we need you in the beat cars!!

Is it factual that Masters is advising Rahm on the Police Department and if Rahm is elected Masters wants to be named Superintendent?

Why did Neely middle of the year have all her huge detail submit bullshit papers and now they are all paid at D-3 rate, some got huge back pay for this! maybe Frank Wilson needs to look into this, naw not him his wife got him the big job then the "playa"divorced her!

Del Valle has not $$$$$$$
when he launched his Mayoral campaign he had the great amount of $972.00 in his war-chest!
Yes, $972 don't even buy you coffee for all the volunteers
He would not be able to raise too much $$$
