- Lewis out in the 002 District - Waller named Commander;
- someone else may have been removed - we can't nail it down yet;
This probably doesn't count as a "reorganization," but it certainly doesn't speak well to the advice J-Fled has been receiving since he got here.
UPDATE: Waller just made lieutenant a month or so ago? Wasn't there a "Commander Application" packet involved? If we recall correctly, the last time they took Commander Applications was over a year ago...and sergeants weren't allowed to put on in.
Once again, J-Fled circumventing his own policies and procedures for the clouted few.

Well, this is what happens when you put someone in charge whose management style consists of yelling at subordinates, locking herself in the office, then coming out and yelling at people again. It's quite obvious J-Fled gets zero input from anyone except City Hall. We really can't recall so many borderline half-wits and psychopaths being in charge at one time.

It turns out the "women's liber" FLORES took the females side and SHIT all over the male sergeant.

Thankfully, The Chicago Police Department would NEVER promote someone based solely on clout alone! This dude must have ribbons and meritorious and heroic acts following him in his footsteps everywhere he has traveled!

This is really a shame.
The sergeant is a decent guy.
The female copper has serious mental issues. She has no business being on this job.
She was placed into call-back after she attempted suicide. HOWEVER, since the department is scrambling to get everyone back on the street, they give her gun back and put her back into 014 within a few months.
The Ultra-female-libber Flores coddles her when she AGAIN starts to stalk the male sergeant sending him crazy-ass messages on the computer.
When the sergeant complains about this, HE gets screamed at by the hysterical commander and gets dumped out of the district to midnights somewhere else.
In the meantime everyone is scared shitless this crazy female is going to kill someone.
What is the department going to do about it?

Off topic,heard that a backlash is coming and after the tact lieutenants are cut JFED and co can expect zero support and bare minimum from the few working bosses left. That means less search warrant watch and field support.They are no longer interested in working or supporting working po's ( tact, msf, gang, tru ) while JFLED Brown Brust and co are at the helm.True most whiteshirts never really did any real policing, and they were political appointees, but you got a few bosses that are workers and backed workers until now. It seems that the Alderperson was calling the Tact LT. for a few weeks on his cell and leaving all kinds of messages regarding the corners she wanted cleaned up. Problem was that the Tact LT. Retired a few weeks ago and the Commander failed to inform the Alderperson. Messages were never returned and the corners were never cleared. Never underestimate the power of city hall.

Fred??? Why not? They've done the same thing numerous times in the past. Flores' short time as a merit Lt was spent as a CAPS Lt before they made her. The list goes on and on but thats the point. It pisses me off every time they make one of these no experience clout babies while myself and the other test score Lts are left to rot for 5, 10 15 years.
That being said, as long as they're going to do it it might as well be Fred. At least it hurts less.

Was the commander of 003 dumped as well? Please confirm. If he was, what a shame. He actually was one boss who didn't bow down to anyone. Actually backed his officers and supervisors.
I really don't think it was Ald. Dowell who got Lewis tossed out. Dowell was the LONE alderman who publicly stated she 'didn't see where Weis was worth the money' when the City Council voted to approve his employment. I doubt her opinion of Weis has changed much over the past 2+ years.
It doesn't take much for WEISel/Masters to flip the script on you, especially if you are a black exempt.
They've done it several times already, and there's still 4 more months to go.

Wow....so M.L. is wreaking havoc in the 14th district...poor sgt. who fell into her trap...she is mentally unstable boys and girls and she did do the same thing in 017...stalking a tact guy and many other mentally ill acts..the dept. stripped her for about 1 to 2 weeks but she made it back in rare form..one day, she had a 3 hour crying session in the w.c. office and within a week, her and the tact guy were transferred to different districts of their choice...if you come into work and you see her crying in the w.c. office, make sure to keep your head low and go the other way..she is certifiably nuts!!!

Don't know the crazy lady from 014 but you have to wonder about our alleged psychological screening when someone like her passes, but good kids like my neighbor and my neice get screened out.
The one thing that is not being taken into account is the fact that most of the Lt.'s and Capt.'s don't want to be promoted to Cmdr. H.Q. asked for applications for Cmdr. earlier this year and J-fled got pissed because there were only a few apps submitted. Being a gold star isn't all it's cracked up to be. No O/T, 12-14 hour days, married to a blackberry, 24 unpaid furlough days, and worst of all, having to go to meetings with J-fled and his band of nitwits. So not to marginalize anyone who gets made, but the pickings are slim. So just about anyone who puts in a resume is gonna get a spot, especially since J-fled couldn't name 5 people on this department without looking at someones nametag.

Sure there were. But lets not forget the ethno-political realities of the CPD. We all know that certain districts will never have a white commander: 002, 003, 004, 005, 006, 007, 010, 011, 013, 014 & 015. It is what it is.

I remember Matt Rodriguez and this is largely inaccurate. He fiished the Lt's class, became the C.O. of one of the units in VCD, as a Lieutenant. It was a year of so later that he was promoted to Deputy Superintendent. He did skip the other ranks, but that was common.
