Rahm Emanuel Wins

How did he do it so soon? Here's how:
  • In a political about-face, a coalition of black leaders has rejected its two earlier stated finalists and thrown its support behind U.S. Rep. Danny Davis for mayor, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.

The coalition — a group of African-American politicians, religious and community leaders — met late into the night Friday, before unanimously selecting Davis over former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun and Board of Review Commissioner Larry Rogers, who were the announced finalists last month.

Davis might be the "consensus" candidate, but he has zero crossover appeal to the Hispanic and white ethnic voters. That means Davis, Braun and Meeks are going to split the black vote. Who's left - Chico? Our opinion is that he'll drop out for the right offer or be forced out over some skeleton discovered while he was working for Shortshanks. It has happened before you know.

What's the point of even having an election?
Just give Rahmbo the keys to the mayor's office already.

Don't count Chico out, he's just as tough as Rahm and many people out there feel (as I do) that the media is ramming that prick down our throat.

Chico is right, City Employees have been fired for residency for doing exactly what Rahm did and is doing.

As a voter, Danny Davis gets me as excited as an amoeba in a disco line dance... ie. not so much.

I believe the guy who is going to gain the biggest traction against Obama's boy Rahm between now and February will be Gery Chico barring "some skeleton" as SCC mentioned. He seems like a very viable candidate if he isn't bought off.

Votes don't matter in the People's Republic of Chicago. The fix was in a long time ago. Rahm will be mayor.

God help us all.

This "coalition" does not tell this black female who to vote for, I hate Danny Davis, do not know who Larry Roger is and Caarol M Braun attacked Rahm for going out of state to fund-raise, which Is exactly what she did prior and has not announced what her plan for Chicago is if she were elected Mayor and Chico is being accused of representing crooks stealing money from the city with sham companies by DSLC and his plan to change adnissions to City Colleges would bar a large number of minority students.

Rahm should win.

IMO Chico will not drop out. Furthermore talk is cheap but when asked on Fox news what his #1 priority would be as mayor his response was (well first off I can tell you the police dep't is thousands of officers short).
I haven't heard Rahm say that.

Last point we all complain about the blatant unfairness of the promotion system within our dep't. Well heres a fact. Anyone can check it's accuracy. Chico has a very close relative on the dep't and even with all Chico's connections that relative has been and is a 20+ year beat cop working in district patrol and it's not for lack of intelligence or work ethic. Out of all the choices Chico would be our best friend.

Just think if a group of white politicians got together to pick the “white candidate” for mayor, just imagine the public outcry. The black man’s response to that question would be that they do it everyday. That blacks are routinely excluded by whites from society and they’re only doing what the white man does. Maybe that line of thinking held water 40 years ago but it simply isn’t true today.

Why don’t community leaders put their heads together and find a candidate that will be good for all the people of Chicago and put racial politics aside. If we don’t, the Democratic machine will make the choice of who is the next mayor for us and enforce that choice with vote fraud.

Can our city tolerate another Daley, another dictator and another administration ruled by corruption and nepotism ? We all know we can’t.

Danny Davis is the goof who stood behind Rickey Hendon when Hendon went into his racist rant. If you look at the tape Davis was nodding his head in approval and afterwards clapping in approval.

That would disqualify him if he wasn't black!

Davis is shill #2, they're not taking any chances.

Davis has ties to Obama that go back to the mid-90's "New Party" days of Marxist/Democratic fusion.

I highly recommend Stanley Kurtz' book "Radical-In-Chief" as a primer on not only Obama's marxist background, but also for the light it shines on how the far, far left infiltrated the Chicago Democratic Party and unleashed this blight on the nation.

Kurtz gets it. He doesn't waste time on "secret muslim", birther, Obama-on-down-low nonsense. He shows how the President's marxist belief system formed. In the process of reading this tale, we meet many familiar faces....including Davis,Bill Ayers' brother John, Rahm, Jacky Grimshaw, etc....

Kurtz understands the Daley Machine's "no enemies on the left strategy" even though he doesn't articulate it in this book (Please Stanley, Part Two!). To maintain power and access to the treasure, the traditional organized crime wing of the Chicago Machine conciously incorporated the marxist fringe crowd in the 90s, to replace white ethnics who fled to the burbs.

Rahm has been the concensus heir for many years, none of this is an accident.

Don't count out Chico. He's as close to a reform candidate as we have. He likes the police, and he can appeal to white, Hispanic and Jewish voters. And he does have some support in the African-American community. If it's between Rahm and Chico, Gery's the winner. And Rahm and his socialist buddy Barack, and his criminal buddy Richie know it.

Chico for Mayor!

And for goodness sake, Free Bill Cozzi!

I lived in the city (Roosevelt and Damen) for 12 years in the 80's and 90's. The longer I lived in Chicago the more I was impressed that government was like that from the middle ages. The king, the vassal lords beholden to the king and the serfs (us). This has been proven many times over. No wonder I don't live in Illinois anymore!

It's simple politics:

If Emanuel steals the election, the police will continue their contempt against the scum on the fifth floor.

This city will be swimming in crime 24-7, 365 days a year if Emanuel attempts to further fuck over the police department. Let's see him privatize the police and eat the multimillion dollar shit sandwich in the form of a veritable avalanche of lawsuits against the city for the hiring of criminals dressed as police.

If Emanuel gets in, it's time to just let this city burn to the ground, then leave it to sit in the shit it's created for itself

Taxpayers, take your money and flee before Emanuel the criminal runt steals it from your pocket at gunpoint, because his "redistribution of wealth" methodology ala "Democrat" is gonna TAKE from your pocket and fill the pockets of the worthless criminal scum in this city because they voted for him.

And after the police completely abandon you because of Emanuel, you'll have no choice but to flee for your lives and to protect your property, becase if Emanuel steals this election, we're gonna respond to everything in a safe and cautious manner, with total regard for the public safety, while you burn with Emanuel's criminals.

My candidate for Mayor of Chicago will be the one who calls on the feds to enforce the laws against illegal aliens and who will END Chicago's designation as a sanctuary city.

As undemocratic as that sounds, it is a necessary step in keeping this city, county, state and the entire country from spiraling into bankruptcy and a full blown Depression Era!

Davis: 1500 S. Kedzie (010)
