Bad Santa!
Even though he was sporting a Santa hat and a fake fur coat, a North Side man wasn't exactly in a holiday mood Friday, police said.
First Adam Klimek, 35, was asked to leave the Brown Elephant store at 3651 N. Halsted in Lake View because he was swearing at other customers and appeared intoxicated, police said.
Then, while he was being escorted out of the store, he allegedly pushed a store worker toward the sidewalk before fleeing south on Halsted.
Police caught up with him a block away. When he was told he was going to be placed under arrest and was handcuffed, he spit at and kicked an officer in the shin, causing her to suffer bruises and swelling, according to a police report.

While it most definitely sucks for the officer to get hurt and spit at, it still makes a hell of a story down the road.

This Santa is an impostor... I have a copy of a case report from around 1980 where an old white haired, bearded guy died, whose name was Santa Claus. He was a rotund kinda guy with a white beard who had legally had his name changed.
It just struck me as strange to see a case report (Hospitalization/Death Investigation) with Santa Claus written on it. He also had an Illinois driver's license with with his photo.
I've been telling people ever since that Santa Claus is dead!
Beware. Jody may be looking to pull a Cozzi on the arresting officers.

Too much college is saying it mildly. Sad to say it but ur absolutely correct ! Use of force is a thing of the past. 023 is notorious for letting idiots get away with shit. Kids and yuppie police understand one thing, touch the police, u go to the hospital ! Learn it and be the real police for once.
Another case of an offender spitting on an officer. How'd that last one turn out that happened AFTER the Sgt and his team were stripped? Lets see what the state does w/ this one. Maybe Anita will handle it herself.

Mr Real Police what would you have done to Bad Santa! You are all talk and how do we know this person did not get a pumkin head deluxe WHILE fighting with the police. I don't work at Town Hall but I am sure the whole incident was caught on surveillance camera of either a cell phone, store, bank, city, federal , etc (consider your self on camera everywhere ). The media would be showing Santa getting be beating in Lakeview only by PO PO and nothing prior. Officers would be looking at 30 pending . So PLEASE educate us on how to be the REAL POLICE. From the been there done that but no more police.

Bro I would never beef on you or another copper. Times have change and so have I , my beef is that you calling out a district for not taking care of business. I have worked with officers all over this city and never seen a shit head get treated the way he/she deserves from Area 1-5. 23rd district has people from all over the city committing crimes like 16. 17,18 19,20, 22, and 24. We have lost officer from each of these districts during my career. You go protect the wedtside and southside while these officers protect our homes!
