A Gun...and a "Hit List?"

  • Eutimio Rodriguez was among the few students honored for academic excellence on a wall banner at George Washington School, Chicago Public Schools staff said.

But when the 18-year-old returned to his former school Tuesday, he had a loaded gun hidden in an ankle holster, police said.

  • Rodriguez, of the 13100 block of Avenue O, allegedly told police he was visiting a teacher. But when he set off a metal detector, security officers detained him, did a "pat down" and found the .38 caliber gun, which was reported stolen from Indiana, police said.

Police allegedly later found that Rodriguez was also carrying rubber gloves and the names and photos of cops who'd recently conducted a drug bust in the Hegewisch neighborhood.

And what kind of photos were these? And here's a question - did the cops kids go to that school? Because if they did, we have a large problem.

This city is going to hell in a hurry. Two days ago some POS opens fire in a crowd of people at 63rd and King during the typical after school skirmishes. what makes the whole thing -in the words of SCC- un-fucking-believable was that only 2 were hit outta 5 shots, no one died, and there were AT LEAST 6 SQUAD CARS W/I 50 FEET OF THIS HAPPENING!! Because of the sheer number of bodies it was impossible to see the shooter as shots rang out however some tact guys from 003 saw dude dump the gun in the back of a p/u truck in traffic and grabbed the offender (great job btw). If I'm not mistaken this wasn't some b/s piece of crap gun either. It was a nickle S&W .357.
....be careful out there, these mf'ers dont give a rats ass.....

From a citizen troller: This is the kind of government confusion that drives we citizens nuts. The police only respond to homicides and suicides because A) it occurred in Chicago and B) the county cannot investigate in its own backyard. Let me get this straight: Agg Bats are not responded to by CPD. They occurred in Chicago. Following the SCC reasoning (you agree with Feds call this summer) the CPD then would only investigate if the agg batted say died 15 minutes after the incident? Would that be an inside homicide of if it occurred out in the lot and outie? And it is most distressing to hear cops are locked in by sheriffs and SWAT was going to be called? This is some crazy shit. When seconds matter, the cops are locked up by the sheriff? As you like to write: unfucking believeable. Really.

Daley typical scare tactics. Let me ask something that the media has not asked so far...They both, media and this corrupt government, admit they we are over 2300 police officers short...right? So lets do the math 2300 X $75,000 a year on average with benefits (Probably a little more) ='s $172,500,000 in savings a year not staffing the police department to levels its supposed to be. Where the fuck is this money? Huh Mr fucking asshole Daley? Where is this money? This piece shit is talking about the largest property tax increase in the citys history because now this fucking wiesel will be forced by the state to fund our pensions. When will these maggots be held accountable? People like Daley are the biggest slime balls on this planet...fuckin asshole!

***********************************
Well said! Maybe instead of raising taxes to fund our pensions they can force the aldermen to....

1. Not allow the city to contribute a cent to their pension until ours are at least 90% funded
2. Raise the age an alderman can collect to 55.
3. Not allow an alderman to collect more than one city pension (we'll call this the pseudo- rostenkowski rule)
4. Aldermen will not be vested until 16yrs of service.

They need to fry this guy to make an example out of him. This could have been another tragedy. Where did he get the list? Honor roll student huh?

Sad part is the student is a coppers (erps) kid. The kid had departed from his family and living with a friend about 6 months ago and recently broken up with his girlfriend. Sounds like Columbine all over. The Commander's name and tact personel were on the list.

It's definitely worrisome if he was intent on some sort of revenge mission at the school. More troubling is where did he get the names of the police officers?

Wearing a pistol through a metal detector, now that's an honor student. CPS should be proud.

A homicide, suicide, or agg battery within the boundaries of the jail or Audy home are areas completely within the control of county. They have sworn officers who can make arrests and process evidence. What need is there for Chicago to show up, arrest an offender, transport the offender to a District station, fingerprint and photograph said offender, then transport him back to the county facility he came from?

There is none.

County refuses to have enough sheriffs on scene and won't let the sheriffs access to Chicago's computerized arrest system to add charges to the offender's existing paperwork, even though the State Police does it, UIC does it, every other Department operating in Chicago does it.

This is reason #1 to send your kids to the local Catholic, Lutheran, Jewish, Montesorri, whatever, school....

Don't think that these gang banging vermin aren't in "nice" neighborhoods. Due to the Daley family policy of scattering Section 8 savages allover the place, this beast could've easily been hitting up on your daughter.

Oriole Park school had a kid walking around inside with a gun for weeks, they determined, several years ago. The savage in question was from a family that originated in 025 but was renting a house near Higgins/Neva. The best part is that they found he was pressuring a special needs copper's kid to steal dad's gun.

And don't buy the bullshit about the "scores are outstanding". The system is designed that way and education is about more then raw scores.

Young guys, spend the money on your kid's tuition. It's worth it.

The kid is a valedectorian from his class, ironically. Also, as he was sitting in the office during processing, his look was very cold with no emotion. He said nothing and just looked blankly at the wall ahead. From a school official, normally this kid would have gotten waved around the detectors, but by luck, there happened to be new security working at the school that day. Why would they wave anyone around them these days? Anyway, the initial target may or may not have been a teacher. That part is unclear.

The officer's names were obtained via an article/picture that was published in a local newspaper(the observer)praising the officers for job well done in the execution of a search warrant that led to the recovery of several weapons. As far as I know, none of these officer's children attend this high school.

U are 100% correct, they dont care about when and where they shoot. As far as those coppers from 003, who grabbed the offender this is their second on-view shooting in 3 weeks, cant prosecute with shit victims both times!

The mayors hoops for handguns is working fabulously eh?

Not only did the city waste who knows how much money challenging the constitution, money that may have been better served by funding more manpower on the streets - the mayor continues on a failed path. His exit from city hall can not come soon enough.

Law abiding citizens are jumping through all sorts of hoops to protect themselves as the city uses these ordinances as yet another revenue generating scam.

The department is all about strong arm revenue generation isn't it - law and order, not so much.

Oh yeah? let's talk about Englewood west now that you've discussed Englewood east. WTF happemed last night during a snowstorm? FOUR people shot?
Englewood is one of the smallest least populated districts in the city. How come that alderman's brother Commander Carothers ,can't get a grip on the crime over there?
Why are there so many guns and shootings going on in a district that's comprised mostly of vacant lots and boarded up houses? Somebody got an answer for this, I'm totally at a lost-is there a hands off gangbanger policy over there?

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

I used to work with that same ATTITUDE myself as I made sure my clients went to the pen and not just the county for bond!

But then I was slowed down....

Maybe for the best....

Safer for my own future that way as I am not indemnified nor can I trust anyone much anymore out here.

Units want to turn it up on Dude and keep the search warrants and numbers coming....fine ...God bless them and stay safe.

I made it over 17 plus years and I need to make it at least 5 to 10 more if I decide to stay....sorry kiddos if they want me THEY the FED better indemnify my actions....like a JUDGE!

Sick of where Bill Cozzi is now ...turns my stomach and all I can think about is if they put him in the can for that MINOR bullshit I should be swinging from a tree!

I have seen the light!

Thanks Jody you straightend me out!

QUESTION: Why the fuck do I get all this NATIONAL FOP shit sent to me about bullshit with all these National issues of shit when the ONLY issue they should be bartering for is NATIONAL INDEMNITY for Peace Officers! Throw a Federal review panel in their if necessary for "bad" beefs and lets get back to business locally!

Otherwise FAMILY FIRST...BACK UP the BLUE second and avoid DUDE third (unless he crosses some line that I feel needs addressing) and forth....BLINDERS!

Never was this way...now I am

A police officer's job is budgeted at $100,000 per year, at least.

10 officers is $1 million

100 officers is $10 million

1,000 officers is $100 million

2,300 officer is $230 million, at least.

Or put another way, about one half of what has been squandered on either Block 37 or Millenium Park.

Both of those daley catastrophes together roughly equates to 9,000 police officers

WRT: "The kid is a valedectorian from his class, ironically..."

We joke about oh and here's another honor roll student getting busted however when you think about it why should we not be surprised.

I mean society says that these kids are special, like the political officials are special and the business leaders are special - and well, when it comes down to it when you're special the rules don't apply to you!

Carrying a hand gun and bypassing a metal detector doesn't apply to them - they're special like the mayoral candidates are special and the investment bankers and corporate CEO's pulling off white collar frauds are special.

We wonder why the laws are viewed as meaningless? Look around you.

Take the immigrations laws for example. We had the president of the United States not to long ago, the top guy we are all suppose to have the ultimate respect for - stand in front of the nation and proclaim that the illegal immigrants should be matched up with the employers that are willing to (break the law and) hire them.

To do the jobs Americans do not want to do negates the laws. Only wanting a better life for themselves and families negates the laws. Well my friends there are a lot of illegal activities that some do only to make a better life for their families. So let's just ignore it all shall we?

How about if we feel so strongly about these laws we change the laws instead so that the concept of law means something.

Here in Chicago our leaders proudly proclaim our city as a sanctuary city offering a zone of impunity for illegal immigration - ignoring the laws. How do you get a job, get a drivers license, etc..if you're here illegally unless you break even more laws?

So I ask you which laws are we going to enforce and not enforce. Is there a manual?

Then you have mayoral candidates that are allowed to run for office even though they do not meet the requirements of being a resident.

Yeah it's like the kids story on Humpty-Dumpty isn't it? You remember ..`

When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less.

Heh, yeah and we all know how well that turned out!

Being a resident of Chicago to become mayor doesn't mean that you have to live here according to this new interpretation by some.

Oh-no it's all about your intent.

They're not illegal immigrants - they're undocumented aliens - nothing illegal in that label right? Like the definition of "is" is and "mission accomplished".

You know what I'm sayin' These kids see it.
