I was shocked a few days ago when I read somewhere that Daley was in favor of the death penalty in the Flisk/Peters homicide. Can't recall where I read it, but there is a clip of him saying so on the NBC website. Sorry, I don't know if this previously has been discussed.
He's an awefull human being! Thank God he didn't speak at the funeral cause he really could care less about us. Also, we really need the media to start calling him out about what he did to the pension. Daly keeps crying about the tax payers taking the hit making us look bad when the condition of the pension is all because of what Daley did to it. There is no one to blame but Daley and his friends. PERIOD!

That leperchaun - not leprechaun - (there is a difference) is a complete pos. I don't live in Chicago, and I am not a police officer, but I do have sons who are cops and have followed the news and this blog closely for years. Daley has police officers' blood on his hands. How that pos can sleep at night - and then look himself in the eye every morning - is beyond me. I have more comments that I would like to publish, but they would be intemperate and profane. This evening, as every evening, I will pray that God protects ALL police officers and firefighters, everywhere.

The Mayor's ignorance of both the line-of-duty and off-duty murders of our fellow officers is the most obvious example that we are all that we have. However, I will say this, there remains a great number of citizens that fully support us and would like to see the pendulum swing in the opposite direction.
