Police Limit Censored
Evidently, the humorless types over at GoComics aren't amused by raw language. But here it is in all it's glory:
Once again, a spot-on observation.

Perfect. I think we should just photocopy a few hundred of these and silently hand them to 'mama' as we walk away.
How true. Life imitates the art
OT - The Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center "incident" has popped up again. One of the FEW good things J-fled has done.

That TOTALLY looks like my neighbor...
Hit the nail on the head with that one for sure.
The truth hurts.
Wow!
Loved it!
So, So True!
Or fold them up real small and stuff them in their television remotes after you lift the batteries - that is, IF you leave them the remotes

You're assuming "mama" can read.
RULES give you rights. Unfortunately ghetto dwellers don't have any rules, don't have the slightest idea what rules are, don't know why rules exist and wouldn't obey any rules if they were forced to memorize them.
But they all know their fucking rights after they break the law.
---not a cop
Well said!
I think we should hand this out just like we do with a vin or a din when we handle the springer/povich domestics.
this comic is spot on and calls it like it is. Liberal assholes dont like truth, they prefer fairy tales and false reality
Art imitating life once again...nicely done.
the irony of the cartoon lies in it's truthfulness. start xeroxing!
Perhaps if we incorporated this into the juvenile delinquent general order and gave a copy to all the 'revarens to give to they frock the city would run a bit smoover.'
No truer words spoken.
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep...a great idea, we could even gift wrap it in the daily dose of Flamin' Hots and Red Pop...mmmm hhmmmm...and dat ain't no hibbity jibbity.
How fucking true this is!
If I had a dollar for every time that happened, I wouldn't need deferred comp.
I saw the cartoon and had the thought of copying them and handing the copies out. Anonymous at 12:46 beat me to it. But, great thought!!!
Hit the nail on the head............
Did you ever notice how these people who complain the most about how everyone else doesn't know how to do "they" job don't actually have a job themselves? But by God, they know how you should be doing yours.
I like the parent thing, it's appropriate. It's a tough job being a decent parent. It takes long hours., lots of struggle and a ton a patience, and a wee bit of discipline, when needed.
Thanks SCC.
I just snorted my bourbon all over the keyboard.
ot:
Rahm is looking to see how many people will actually vote for him.
Go to this website and cast a yea or a nay for the next Mayor Daley = Rahm Emmanuel

The perfect description of a Ghetto (gang/dogass) mama. A complete education in parenting/not acting like a thug bitch would work wonders. It may take many years but would be worth the effort. They ended up in projects because the majority could not live with civilised people. Richard J. Daley & croanies had this seperation housing/living in mind when they created the CHA Projects.
It'll be a long dangerous road to reach civilization.
Hey,
The transfer order is out. I don't recall seeing a posted application period or even an opening for Narcotics. But yet, a Lt with less than three months experience as a Lt gets to go a unit while we are struggling in patrol.
Everything IS transparent!!
Signed,
A four year, southside Lt
It's all legit!!
Ain't this the troof......
Only strange part of this cartoon is mama has a shirt on!!!! But great cartoon!!!!
Gub, as always, you're spot on with Police Limit. No censoring on BL, so I know you'll always be yourself there. Like Fran (may he R.I.P), you have the most awesome sense of humor. It pisses me off that PC liberals hate to hear the truth.
BTW, you're way too far away from me now. I'm all the way down here in TN and I don't have you perving outside my bedroom window, hiding in the bushes like you used to do in UD. Wow, just think - you were doing it since 1999.
You may be warped, but I luv ya oodles, Garey! :p
OT:
I thought I would let his many friends and co-workers know that my father, Retired Captain John J. Nolan, finally lost his long battle with Alzheimer's Friday night (3DEC).
My family would like to thank everyone for all the kind wishes and support over this very grueling period.

As a Lt. you ought to know that narcotics is not a bid unit. You know that, right? Not subject to bid?
Is that 4 years as a Lt or 4 years on the job and a Lt?
I recall an officer who got dumped out of narcotics and filed a grievance as if there was a right to be there. Non-bid unit.

I believe what the Lt meant was Jfled promised the department: any time there are openings for any position in specialized units, the specialized unit must announce the job opportunity so anyone of that particular rank can apply and send a resume and get an interview. It should have been announced on Pax 501 and in the Daily Bulletin.
Now apologize to the Lt, smartie pants...
