Daley Welcoming Feds?
Mayor Daley on Saturday suggested the feds should get involved in an investigation of thousands of apparently faked notary public signatures on Chicago mayoral nominating petitions.
"There should be federal investigations, state investigations," Daley told reporters Saturday. "If I did that, the feds would be right after me tomorrow. They'd be chasing me down the street."
Oh, if only, Richie. If only.

It's easy to call for a federal investigation when you're no longer the target.

You gotta laugh. Daley says that the pension bill will leave taxpayers on the hook (aren't they already?) and that they won't be able to sell their homes (aren't all city employees already prisoners here and isn't a taxbase that can't leave preferable to one that can?).
Maybe shortshanks should think back about 20 something years ago when the state indicted people for gathering phony signatures for him. How quickly this idiot forgets.

As an active Fed and former Police Officer, yes I have attended all the funerals for CPD. However, knowing the hatred CPD has for the FEDS, I do not display my badge or ID when I attend. I have many CPD members as close friends and will be there for them at anytime. Not all Feds are assholes, just most. Some of us are still cops at heart and always will be - took the job to better life for the family.

Please start with United Road Towing the city auto pound contractor that wrongly towed my vehicle, caused over $1,000 in damages, made it un-drivable where I had to tow it back home and now refuses to pay for any of it.
At least the cities judge found in my favor though and refunded the towing and storage fees however now I am left still holding the bag
I have to tell you people. The so-called "city that works" is not working for me that's for sure.
Because of URT's actions the city lost revenue and I mean more than just the towing fees.
Maybe we look into the rest of these cities contracts they'll be some money available to hire some people and fund some pensions eh?

Now that this has been brought to light, the Daley Crime Family today was forced to "debar" Arrow Lumber from doing business with the City.
"The posting comes on the same day the Chicago Tribune published a report detailing Arrow Lumber's lucrative contracts with the city, Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Park District despite its owner's admission in 2007 that he'd participated in scheme that defrauded the city."

Yes. I have been inside of the church for five this year. At all of them, the FBI and DEA and Secret Service were on hand.
I spoke (or tried to)to the two Serbian officers at Mike Flisk's funeral. They were here on an extradition, read about it in the paper, and felt that they should attend. They could not speak much english, almost none. Probably didn't understand much of what was said. But they came anyway. How fucking cool was that.
One of them did tell me "American whiskey very good".

There were a couple dozen of them, at least, at Joe Airhart's funeral. They were there because they wanted to be, not because someone told them to appear.
I sat a little behind them, and noticed their response when Weis spoke. More than a few were visibly annoyed when he walked up there and they were pretty vocal amongst themselves about their opinion of him. It gave a few of us a brief smile on an otherwise horrible day.
Daley was in office for 20 plus years and you blame Obama for him not getting indicted. You must be an exempt rank. Not taking up for Obama but that is why we are in the mess we are in, uninformed, ready to blame somebody for your non voting idiotic, no solution having ass. It is the reason why we are all deep in shit. None of these POLITITIONS are worth a damn. All are millionare career bullshiters but you happened to wake up just in time and single out one.

All of the Mayoral hopefuls who had fake signatures etc should drop out because they are stupid and un-qualified to run a city as the can not even runa campaign to run for Mayor.
Whoever collected the petitions was supposed to check the sheets for accuracy and they were supposed to oversee the person collecting the petitions.
It is obvious they appointed someone to collect the petitions and did not bother to chec and see how things were going or anything whicj is the same way theu would run the city, meaning the citu would be run the same way and corruption and who knows what else would be rampant.
Lisa is a consumer advocate complaint person. She is worthless, and useless in her present position.
That is why she was put there. To the powerful people that put her in office she is doing exactly what she is suppose to be doing NOTHING IMPORTANT.
Anita is also a political animal. Her agenda is to have a high conviction rate. Even if that means allowing serious offenders to plea out, or no charges placed.
She would love to put a few Police Officers in Jail. It's always good press.
