Another "Flash Mob"
Twice in three days? Or just getting more coverage:
- Some time this evening, around 6:30 p.m., a group of African-American teenage shoplifters swarmed a downtown Chicago GAP clothing store.
Police said the juvenile offenders were caught on tape stealing merchandise from the Michigan Avenue retailer.
The blog has been airing stories for over a year or two now about roving gangs randomly beating people and robbing them all over downtown. Now that businesses are getting hit, all of the sudden it's newsworthy to the mainstream media, but only one time. They wouldn't want to make this look like a regular occurrence or an on-going problem or anything now or what?

The FLASH MOB can be innocent fun when a group abruptly assembles at a public location and starts singing Christmas carols, etc. Like anything else, some people will make it criminal like the incidents at Mayfair Mall near Milwaukee and N. Michigan Ave.
How do you call 9-1-1 and report that "suspicious" roving bands of young blacks are assembling BEFORE they rush the stores. Won't the police dispatcher give the caller the politically correct "you're a racist" runaround until the crimes actually occur and then it's too late. Do the dispatchers even know what a FLASH MOB is?

Maybe it's a strange coincidence, but they read at roll call the other day that when we work secondary employment, we are not to wear the uniform. You can't even put a security patch over the CPD one.
Ok, fine. But they continued by saying that if you make an arrest while in the employ of another, YOU cannot be listed as the arresting officer. The first on duty copper that shows up will go in Box 1. You will be the complainant. Plus, don't try and put a slip in for your court time. It's expected that your secondary employer will foot the bill, but at a substantially lower rate.

Before I was a police officer, I had a run in with these animals. I was at the Chicago Avenue Red Line stop and I saw a group of black teenagers. About 9 of them. One of them started talking shit to me and I ignored him and then the rest sorrounded me and they threatened to throw me down the tracks. A very scary experience.

Since I was a child I have heard the "40 years" comment. Now over 30 years later "40 years" is still used. When does it become 41 42 43 and so on? Seems 40 is like the magic number when its really 70 or 80 years. Also to be fair its not white people that have helped black people. But it is government liberals that have used the only tool they know of throwing money at social problems to feed the disease that keeps them in office and procure the 97% of black citizens votes. Social programs are designed to make people more comfortable at the American level of poverty, not escape it. If anyone ever escapes our poverty they would not vote for democrats unless that is their base that gives them power and/or fortune. I use the term American poverty because we have the fattest, best housed, and most healthy poor with the best health care in the world. The poor in the United State live like royalty by comparison to any other poverty stricken nation. Their job is to vote Democrat and keep their hand out and organize calling themselves victims.

Kind of like when your were a kid your mother always said "Dont feed stray dogs." Why? Because the dog will follow you home, beg for more and not leave. Let's not confuse things. A Flash Mob is a group of benign goofballs that get together via Facebook to do silly things like staring at the sky at a particular time at a particular place somewhere.
These "wildings" are criminal acts put together by the dregs of society. They are organized riots. It's what they do best.
To confuse the issue and call it the benign "Flash Mob" underscores the criminal activity that this really is.
The more we take it, the further we have to come back. Unfortunately we are already a long way from civil.

The mall management at Wauwatosa was on Facebook, sending "you're banned from the mall" messages to every participant they could spot -- for all the good it did. They were actually playing at cyberwar with the sons-of-bitches.

Who the s__t cares. The toilet has overflowed, and there is a limit to the average person's interest in and tolerance for every new, meaningless bright color and loud noise.
There always has been. The man is just trying to get through his day -- doing his part in holding civilization together -- and doesn't care that someone is hooting and pulling their pants down. Adolescents -- and perpetual adolescents -- cannot grasp this.
