So where's Henny Penny now? No one has seen hide or hair since her latest debacle, yet she continues to get paid at the commander rate for some reason. Someone suggested she is currently seeking sanctuary at one of the local churches.

swat giving back their take home cars. MSF and TRU getting cut. 500 POS in both units now, at least 6 LTS,50 sgts, 2 commanders? Every district in city short? PATROL needs help.
Washington never should have been demoted in the first place! Thanks Jackson & Dugan, for the fine mess of hatchet wielding that you'll be most famously remembered for. One down from a self inflicted sword wound (DD), and couple of asshat Asst. Supts. to go.
It will be awhile before this sad, sorry chapter in the history of the CPD take its rightful place...right at the bottom of a toilet.
Someone should FOIA the Attendance and Assignment sheets for her current assignment and see if she's being carried working (theft) or on medical roll (possible theft, but requires more legwork to prove it), furlough (a wise move), personal days or comp time used.
And, if someone is covering her and carrying her 'working' when she isn't, well then, THAT watch commander and district commander should be handed their walking papers (in a conspiracy to commit felony theft).
Did she, at least, give 011 the CAR back?
She is getting a PAYCHECK of $150,000 @ year for NOT doing shit?

Welcome back Commander. It was a pleasure to see you at roll call the last couple of days, but I must say that you did not look too happy about being there.
Maybe you were tired.
Maybe you just realized that the pile of steaming shit that you have to wade through is much higher than you thought.
Whatever the case, I think I can safely say for most of the rank and file that we will do anything you ask to help right the ship that you have inherited.

Penny, we are praying for you. Not everyone feels the way these posters feel. Being a grandparent now, I look back on all the years of activities I missed because of CPD. Your child is crying out for help. Take time for her and yourself. This job will be here, but most of all, no success is worth failure in your home. Collect that Captains pay which is far more than Commanders pay, and have a blessed life!

There are not even 500 officers in MSF goof.
TRU has approx. 140 po's and MSF has over 250.
I'm not a fan, but some of you looking for theft charges, IPRA allegations (anonymous? you pussy) and conspiracy charges?? She still gets a furlough, and word is that she was placed on furlough. She is probably on that and we all get a paycheck on furlough. There is no criminal investigation; but there is rumor of a DCFS investigation, which many City employees have previously gone through. Some of you are on a head hunt- just let it go; she's been dethroned and at this point is toothless. I suspect they will look for a 2nd Watch spot for her after a short stint in Patrol somewhere, but that is left to be seen. Give it a rest; I'm sick of hearing about it. She is still an employee and has some of the same entitlements that you do, i.e., furlo, cu, pd, bfds, do n/p, etc., maybe the break will shake the cobwebs loose. It's over for now, just let it go, there is plenty of other stuff for you to bitch about.

And, nobody's on a witch-hunt. This person has been a PROBLEM, personally and professionally, for a decade, with repeated infractions that have been swept under the rug for whatever reasons.

It means she and your present 3rd watch commander will not get along. They're too much alike.
It means you'll find her entertaining, for a minute, then you'll start checking your back in the mirror, for the knife that will ultimately land there.
