Meeting On....Oops, Off Again
That final J-Fled meeting Monday with the Commanders and their tactical lieutenants was canceled at the last minute as time expired.
It was subsequently rescheduled for Thursday, this time by Downtown Ernie Brown, supposedly to discuss tact team redeployment for the upcoming summer silly season.
It's been canceled again. So once again, no one knows what the hell is going on and they're going to make sure everyone knows it.

Word is that Hillard and Brown speak in a different dialect so they don't really understand each other . . . Don't worry .. everything will get sorted out.

O.T. But interesting. I retired at 60 3 years ago and moved out of the city. Looking at the precedents set by the Illinois Supreme Court and the re-hiring of a 67 year old retiree. Can I come back? I know I live outside the city now but if I can come back I intend to move back sometime. I will buy a gravesite Rosemont Cemetery and intend to move there someday and stay for a long time.
Once again it shows the leadership on this job or should I say lack of.

How about this, disband all district tact teams and put them back on the streets answering calls. we have enough tools blowing off jobs to pick off hypes on patrol. I know their will be a learning curve for a majority of the tact guys but they should all learn how to be the police. This will solve the problems. How many tact teams does a district need? Flood the street with BLUE SHIRTS and see what happens, it can't get worse.
