Florida pastor Terry Jones is an international terrorist who’s a threat to our lives.
By burning the Koran, he has stirred up extremists in the Middle East and could provoke an attack on Chicago; a suicide-bombing downtown, a chemical-drop in Lake Michigan.
Pastor Jones is a clear-and-present danger to the United States. So what’s to be done about him?
If you or I am a threat, what’s to be done about us? If I get into a car, turn off the lights and race crazily throughout a neighborhood, or set a match to some trash that burns down a schoolhouse.
Or what if I shoot at squirrels with a rifle in Grant Park, or build bombs in my basement, or incite a gang to beat up a rival?
Or what if I’m in line at security at O’Hare International Airport and yell to a guard “I have a gun” or in Macy’s or a crowded-theater, what if I yell “fire”? Should I be guilty and sent to jail?
Yes I should. You bet I should. So should Pastor Jones.
Burning a book of words? A book used to justify some of the most outrageous behavior known to the civilized world? Funny how no one sees Walter using the same rhetoric to denounce flag burners (which by the way, SCC recognizes as a completely legitimate form of political protest, no matter who is doing it.)
We highly doubt any terrorist is going to come to Chicago because of what some Florida pastor does. There are too many other reasons for them to come here - Obama's hometown, birthplace of the A-bomb, CBOT, railway center of the nation, O'Hare, Cubs/Sox rivalry, etc.
Further proof (as if any were needed) that the ones always tossing out the accusations of suppression of speech and overheated rhetoric are the ones willing to support restrictions on all of our freedoms.
UPDATE: To the ass bitching about the bible being used for the same purpose - yes, it did, back in the Dark Ages. Aside from a few whack jobs using the bible to justify the murder of abortion doctors, no one has been burned at the stake for heresy in something over 300 years.

Funny how the left loves to protect the people that use their religion to kill in the name of their God. But no one cares if you piss, burn or spit on a Bible or anything else related to christians.
