Daley and the Outfit?
The politically connected Duff family — campaign supporters of Mayor Daley — won about $100 million in city business, in part through what prosecutors said were bogus claims that they deserved breaks that are set aside for women-owned businesses. Those claims unraveled as James M. Duff pleaded guilty in 2005 to fraud and racketeering, among 33 federal charges.
Daley knew the Duffs, went to their parties, benefitted from their campaign fund-raisers — but downplayed his ties to the family, which, during his tenure, got city cleanup and janitorial work from City Hall at Taste of Chicago, O’Hare Airport and the Harold Washington Library Center,among other lucrative city business.
- There’s nothing in the 600-plus pages — which include intelligence reports from informants, newspaper stories, subpoenas and agents’ notes, some of it with names and details redacted — to suggest that the mayor did anything illegal. In all, there are about 20 references regarding Daley and the elder Duff.

The only reason these spineless reporters are writing this now is because he's gone. Where were they for the last twenty years. That's right kissing his ass and laughing at is unintelligible drivel that he would spew.
There IS no outfit, SCC. That's why we no longer have a unit to investigate them. Obviously, if we disbanded the unit, there's no mob.
Kinda like the reason we disbanded the Auto Theft unit. Right? Right?
SCC: After a news article such as this one proves the US Attorney's office is compromised. Political enemies of today's organized crime family of Daley and Madigan used the US Attorney to take out political enemies. Santos and Laski went against Daley and were indicted, tried and convicted in fedral court. Blago was an enemy of Madigan and he's in federal court.
Nothing is legitimate in this country anymore. The USA is a Third World country. Fuck it, I'm moving to South America. At least down there they admit they're Third World countries.

Did you see the interview with Mike Flannery of CH 32 on the news yesterday? Shorty couldn't put together two sentences that made sense. He also never answered the question about his kids going into politics.
There is a unit that looks into the outfit . It's the criminal enterprise group in the intelligence section
Daley= Mobbed Up Mayor
Feds= Corrupt for Decades
Governors Office= rampant Corruption
Crook County= most Corrupt County in USA
White House= Mecca of Corruption
Taxpayers= tax Dollars being STOLEN, WASTED, SQUANDERED for Decades, and they are too STUPID to make Major Changes and demand Accountability.
When was the last time CPDs' organized crime unit broke up, or got ANYONE convicted of syndicated gambling or anyone of the other crime related statues (federal or state level).

I agree. :| Excluding Daley's eventual punishment (ha ha), the Daley Crime Stories breathe new life to 'The Emperor's New Clothes' and the Bible's "Golden Calf".
