Good News in Texas
- Texas on Tuesday carried out its first execution using a sedative often used to euthanize animals.
Cary Kerr, 46, was put to death by lethal injection for the 2001 sexual assault and strangling of Pamela Horton.
The new drug, pentobarbital, replaced sodium thiopental in Texas' three-drug execution protocol.
Kind of appropriate that what is essentially an animal tranquilizer is used to put down two-legged animals. The execution went flawlessly and chances of recidivism are now zero.

This comes from their days at the FBI Academy together and all those Yankee trips to NYC. So, watch for the good Lieutenant to get a hop, skip and jump in pay and command real soon.

It's not new...it's a city hall position. Mayors have always had a Dept Chief of Staff for Public Safety...they advise the Mayor on police stuff. Your tax dollars at work.

it is not a new-new position. it is a new-old position with rahm performing a name tweaking. it was established by the daley administration for cortez trotter when, months before the 2007 mayoral election, he told rmd he wanted to retire. rmd freaked and, to keep the plantation in order and have no black defection and/or possible black competition, rmd created the chief of public safety position. it allowed trotter to collect a pension from his sworn cfd position and to simultaneously collect a paycheck. trotter complied and stayed until after the election.
mistakenly, many believe j-fled was hired to run cpd and oemc simultaneously, which were added together to account for his huge paycheck. that is false. j-fled was hired to fill the cpd position AND the chief of public safety position, which rmd renamed as the chief of emergency management and response, which confused many into thinking j-fled was hired to run cpd and oemc. amazingly, j-fled reported to himself in those two positions. also, fire and oemc were suppose to report to j-fled, as they were previously suppose to report to trotter, but those other departments quickly realized he was a paper tiger/empty suit with no substance or training that made him qualified to have those departments reporting to him and rmd never compelled the departments to do as such, so it never happened, other than on paper.
usually unknown to the electorate, this type of mysticism, magic, and slight of hand is performed on a regular basis in the halls of government. that is one of the reasons a politician or fed should never, ever, be trusted, regardless of their name, background, education, pedigree, nationality, ethnicity or words coming from their mouth. they are all charlatans.

It's something we never needed before...and, like Daley's "Coordinator Of Green Jobs," or whatever that was, something we'll probably never need again.

just to give you an example of how lawsuits are different in the liberal and corrupt state of illinois. In illinois northern federal district court it is pretty rare for a case to just get dismissed by a judge for a motion request. Usually in the northern district(cook county chicago, will county etc) they get settled which make the lawyers rich and the judges also get nice perks when they are invited to lawfirms golf outings, dinner outings and "charity benefits".. which of course the judges are pampered. Here is the chilling fact. In california southern federal district court when a lawsuit is filed against a police department 89 percent of those cases are completely thrown out before going to trial... 89%!!!! needless to say it does not pay to sue police depts in the san diego area... gee, I wonder why downtown chicago is packed with civil attorneys.... what a bunch of corrupt nonsense.

I have talked to him several times on the phone and he is rude, condescending and surly he is not a golden one like you think.
Plus he ate all the damn corned beef at the St. Pat's party last year. Just rude, inconsiderate and plain rude again.
