It's called 'theft of service' and you should look it up and see what the consequences are. You only care about yourself- your 'duck' isn't owed you - all you do it shit on your coworkers when you pull that crap. No districts are like they used to be. 025 used to have some serious nuts, like what they did to Joe Curtin. But on the flip-side, 025 has done more to change this job for the worse than anything in history.

Sadly, you are correct. A lot of officers will complain about bad bosses yet they won't do anything. In certain districts and watches a bad boss won't get away with treating officers like shit. In the end we have the power to change things.

Pod room bums (pure genius I might add) for all the world to see courtesy of SCC and other outlets, her raising the roof out Souff (my personal thanks to the videographer/audio tech for personally supplying me the original tape which went to YouTube), her log showing Prayer Power leaked to the media, her mugshot from her DD pinch, ditto. Glad you fellas in 016 wont be inconvenienced from your normal routines having to plot Pennys departure...although we did have a ton of fun helping her self destruct out west. You pups in 020 had best get crackin' on a plan to get her bounced ASAP. Clue: she'll make it rather ez for you as she's dumb as a box of hammers, but be persistent in your plans!
With all the cheep slezzy motels on Lincoln and the garbage selling dope and ass she will fell at home, 020 is a crap ass district with a boat load of hands off scared officers. there is so much walking around there and yet no one challenges the element, this could be the straw that breaks the camels back and returns 020 to a working district once they toss that bad penny back on the curb... The city payroll list has her getting captains pay? Her service rank is in reality, I think, LT. In all honesty she should Never have gone beyond d-1.
She shouldn't be using her city vehicle to chauffeur her kid around either. She should be serving at least. 30 day suspension.
You want to save money Rahmballina? I'm sure we could pick 10 commanders or higher that are useless that should be given the option to retire or terminate(pending investigation) that will save at least $1million right off the bat.

Doesn't everyone know how this fkd up dept works by now?? The more incompetent you are, the higher you will be promoted! Plain and simple- if you know what you are doing they want you on patrol because you have more decision-making abilities which can prevent or diminish disastrous events for the bosses in the first place. You will never get promoted for your efforts, let alone receive any accolades for them. This job, as most are, is all about who you know and who you blow. As long as you have right clout, or kiss the right backside, you will never be fired and they will always find a way to take care of you. How else would someone who has been arrested for domestic batt, been under investigation for child abuse, and violate a whole district's constitutional rights still retain this job? Anyone else would have been launched and never heard from again. I'll bet there will be a mass retirement before the Nato and G8 comes in May- many guys and gals are so done with this b.s. it's not even funny.

That's the truth. A few years ago,she was sent to 003 for a 30-60 day detail and cried like a baby not to go ! And the station gave her a cake when she returned .
Her talents are being wasted. Put her in Youth where she can knock the shit out of these useless, criminal, wastrels.
This is my first time on the infamous CPD Blog and I have just a few comments.
1. In regards to specific important information , such as, the closing down of districts and or, the forced wellness plan by the Mayor it is a useful informational tool.
2. I find it ironic that the comments on here question officer bravado , shame individuals, and make accusations on here that at the end of day are meaningless!
3. Meaningless because the comment makers cannot be identified ; thus, they will continue act like neutered animals, whining, moaning ,complaining, etc... Instead of just doing their job! The comments on here regardless of merit makes us and the department seem unprofessional , weak , and honor-less in our dealings with each other and ranking members of our department. This type of behavior will only give fuel to our real Enemies namely shit heads.

Thus, we must decide, Are our internal public beefs with individual officers and ranking members worth destroying the professionalism and honor that those that came before us And those that died worked hard to uphold or is publicly shaming members more important then conducting ourselves in public with respect, dignity , and civility?

here warrant the comparison!
