YEP doesn't sound right at all, because although everything is renamed (districts), they forgot one important RE-NAMING, on the top of the page it still says 'DISTRICTS' , shouldn't it say PRECINCTS?

Why not do as the Fire Department and just close the District's and have missing district numbers. Maybe they want to eliminate the numbers in order to erase that fact that we once had 25. What are they going to do about all the name tag cost? What are they going to do about the fall-in officers on the district guideons? More stupid change. I hope next election everyone will vote for real change and not for more of the same.
Wouldn't you think, if you have an opportunity to eliminate the number thirteen, you'd do it? ;-)

The maps are now available on the Clear system. This department is still the same circus as its always been, just different clowns running it.

I love how they stuck 007 to the South Area. As if 004, 005, and 006 are not busy enough along with the east end of 022. I used to work in 006 but finally jumped ship out of former Area two. I feel for the officers and detectives who have to deal with yet another ghetto district thrown into the mix. And not just any ghetto district, the inner-asshole of a shithole district. Fifteen of your new 22 "precincts" are located in Manhattan. Most NYC crime, particulary violent crime occurs in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
