Skyway Sniper (UPDATED)
At least six cars were damaged after two suspects shot at vehicles entering the Chicago Skyway Wednesday night on the South Side.
Police responded to shots fired about 9 p.m. at Indianapolis Avenue and 105th Street, according to Chicago Police News Affairs officer Daniel O’Brien.
The two suspects positioned themselves on an on-ramp and shot at least six vehicles entering the skyway (I-90) from Indianapolis Avenue, a Calumet District sergeant said.
No one was shot, and the suspects are not in police custody Wednesday night.
As officials investigated the incident, they shut down a three-mile stretch of the highway.
Two offenders shut down an entire expressway and tie up countless thousands of people who just want to go home.

The news showed the front windshield of a red suv that was hit by the "rock throwers" amazing how 2 rockthrowers could get a grouping of 3 hits in an area the size of a softball on a car coming toward them. I call BS. No "Skyway Sniper" in custody? Let's just call it "kids throwing rocks" that sounds better with NATO a week away.

Still not sure what it was, no penetration of windows, though low caliber bullets could follow the path of the windshield and not penetrate. Definitely not kids, as a man was seen running from the scene by responding officers, made good his escape.Could be rocks, big ones and we were lucky no one was seriously injured. Great response by everyone involved. Oh by the way,an Anarchist symbol was found painted on a train track overpass near the scene. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Every time I've had a window blow up next to me, it's been physically strong young men who really hate someone, from the way they were throwing.
"Test run," "probing," stop it. Throw a rock, the glass breaks. Light a dumpster, the garbage burns. Fait accompli.
I know we're on "heightened awareness," but don't read too much into things.

Just the opposite, these cars would have been leaving the Horseshoe and going towards the Rivers (entering at 105th N/W bound, coming from Indiana).
Or it was a pre-NATO scare of just what a couple of people can do to totally shut down an expressway.
Look out Kennedy, Eisenhower, and Stevenson, they could totally stop all motorcades for hours and freeze the Loop Area of All Traffic?
Rocks is kind of misleading, the were not small, marble sized rocks. They were actually about baseball sized rocks. It was a miracle that the drivers whose cars were hit were able to maintain control of their vehicles and not crash. Some of the holes in the windshields were quite large, and actually looked like bullet holes. Also, and this is a fact, there was an anarchist symbol painted on the over pass near the location they were throwing the rocks from.

Back off of Navarro. As XO he is doing exactly what he is supposed to do. Eyes and ears for his commander. He's out there with the troops every night and it's nice to have a captain who has your back and cares about his people. Seems like this comes and goes in cycles, little AA kids throwing rocks damaging cars and sometimes killing people. Same lack of parenting, different kids. I know what some of you are going to say but google it. The demographics of the kids are the same in every case.
