This is hilarious:
- ...got a call in the Area last night from a mom whose 16 year old daughter was beaten up by another 16 year girl. Said her daughter was afraid and they needed police assigned to protect her. Said she was a violence interupter with Ceasefire the cops needed to be stationed at her house. Apparently I'm not quite understanding how this Ceasefire stuff works...
So now we're expected to be unpaid bodyguards for these morons? Why doesn't this "parent" just interrupt the violence like she's supposedly been taught?

the head of ceasefire was on WLS on Monday in the afternoon. I forget the numbers, but he stated that they had intervened in something like 200 cases and had probably saved 180 lives. Yet, the hosts, Jake Hartford and some female, did not quite follow up with the most important question, HOW DO YOU GET THOSE FIGURES???
Assign ceasefire mopes to protect her. The whole ceasefire thing has disaster written all over it!
They are doing this again because it makes the public feel good. Love to audit their books and see where its being spent.
Tell the kids to call DCFS instead of 911. Why do they use 911 for EVERYTHING? From teenage girls fighthing, to a car not starting, to a mouse in the house? What exactly do these people do when a REAL emergency breaks out??

Funny how a ceasefire volunteer was arrested for having 40 bags of heroin last week in 004, and it was all swept under the rug.
Don't want the people to know who ceasefire really is.

Does she think she is alderman Burke or something. Only politicians get cops to be their free security guards. Wasn't he a cop, he can't protect himself? I guess why do it if you can get the city to provide you your own free staff of servants to drive him around, pick up dry cleaning, drive his family around. But hey you greedy cops, stop asking for so much. You should have to work two jobs to support your family. After all you are just lowly public servants.
