$1.5 Million Bail

Seems low:
  • A South Side teenager was ordered held in lieu of $1.5 million bail Wednesday for allegedly shooting at Chicago Police officers who tried to stop him for a possible curfew violation.

Andre Jackson, 17, was shot in the stomach and leg when he exchanged gunfire with police at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block West 90th Street, Cook County prosecutors said. He wasn’t at his bond hearing Wednesday because he remains hospitalized in serious condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, a police officer told Judge Donald Panarese Jr.

The officers involved in the incident were on routine patrol when they noticed Jackson walking eastbound on 90th Street at an alley between Union and Lowe. They wanted to interview him for a possible curfew violation and announced who they were and asked him to stop, assistant state’s attorney Sylvie Manaster said.

But Jackson was hesitant and turned as if he was heading westbound, he abruptly ran eastbound with the officers in pursuit, Manaster said.

One officer eventually darted out of his patrol car and ran after Jackson through an alley yelling “‘Police!’” and “‘Stop!’” before the teen took out a .25 caliber weapon and pointed it at the officer, Manaster said.

The officer fired and Jackson returned fire while falling to the ground as a result of his injuries, Manaster said.

“F--- you guys,” Jackson allegedly yelled at the officer who repeatedly told him to drop the weapon.

For everyone keeping score at home, this is his THIRD weapons violation in eleven months.

The BGA is investigating as he may have had a Facebook page.

How incredible that this child actually violated mayor emmanuels gun lawswe find it hard to believe. They're there for a reason, but being underpriviledged, and not having a good education afforded to him, he probably didn't understand them. I'm sure he was just on his way home to start his homework, you know being one of the mayors children and all. This could be a tough parent teacher conference for mom and dad. But then again, Lil Pooh Butt, mom and dad won't have to worry about studying for GED anymore because he should get the standard $800-2500 a month for life from SSA for his injuries sustained by the evil officer that cut him down in the prime of his life. Another one of the mayors children has to suffer............so sad!!!

There WILL be a next time.

If not by The Police?

Then mutual gunplay with another shithead.

Our money is on the shithead vs. shithead scenario... Those are more fun to see.

No, fuck you Andre, the stupid. The police have better guns, know how to shoot, and have the law on their side. If one of them asks you to stop then you had better do it. If they had found the gun on you then you would have lost it and had to do a little jail time, maybe. Now after shooting at the police you face some serious jail time.

from a surfing troll: as Bill Clinton would say, we are all in this together. Yo Andre is a child of government. Here is how I see it: He should be in jail on the prior weapons beefs. But he is on the street at 12:30 am carrying another gun. We do not imprison criminals in this state who behave badly. Rather, Quinn releases them early for good behavior. And you wonder why crime on the streets (rampant in the City and spreading to suburbs) is at the level it is?

SHOOTING ON THE DAN RYAN.

Yeah but it's police on gang or gang on police and it's no-where near Rahm's house or Burk's house or the Daley's or the Madigan's so it's all cool.

Just another overblown shooting that's all. Am I right Rahm?

It's not like it's effecting everyone in the city. It's just effecting those driving on the Dan Ryan that don't have a security apparatus.

They could care less.

It HAS GOT TO CHANGE!

Rahm and the corporations are in the process of creating a city of unemployable dumb asses.

They just keep waving the Illegal immigrants in with their contraband.

Jam them in the schools pushing down the standards forcing the teachers to spend special bi-lingual time with them, jam them in the ER's and push the cost of it all onto the taxpayers under the "they are only trying to make themselves a better life" banner.

HERE YOU PAY FOR IT -- THE CORPORATIONS DON'T WANT TO.

The corporations want a $55 million dollar Maggie Daley park!! Yeah that's what they want. It will be so pretty won't it?

The corporations don't care about our children's education and our future.

Oh no! A $55 million dollar park renovation is just the kind of World-Class city infrastructure that industry wants to make us a more desirable location for business.

Don't waste that money on schools, education, building a better more desirable, workforce.

NO build a damn political amusement park to praise the dead.

Don't put the money towards high speed rail, roads, bridges, highways, sewer and water or energy or any other infrastructure that might make us more valuable as a business location.

NO..don't do it. This way we can be extorted for more corporate tax breaks in a few months after the elections because we have nothing else of value to offer.

We'll have that $55 mil. dollar park but what NEW business gives a shit about that. It's no reason to do business here. It's a tool to keep the circle jerk of campaign contribution money flowing though the clout laundry though isn't it?

Although...yeah, if we remove the reason to give corporations a tax break by having some really talented people in our workforce or a World-Class transportation or energy infrastructure instead, then how will we get money kicked back to support our $10,000 dollar a plate campaign fund raisers.

That's why we're spending $55 mil. on a damn park instead of infrastructure or education. They don't want the smartest workforce. They don't want the best roads, rail, airports. No...we want the status-quo.

Just keep things exactly like they are. Aren't you better off then four years ago? Rahm is. The corporate CEO's and bankers are...

It needs to change.

IT'S TECH NINE THURSDAY!

Man-oh-man...well it's Tec Nine Thursday time to lock and load as it looks like it's gonna be a hot one again tonight.

Crimes down. Crimes down 10%. However Burke's security is still there, why? Daley's security is still there, why? How many body guards does Rahm have, why? All the violence is gang on gang and in the alley according to the politico's. Why we wasting all this money on personal security?

Hell are we to believe that Rahm has expertise that makes him a one-in-a-million God? Well with 300 million people in the USA there's 300 more people just like him then! With a world population of 7 billion there's another 7,000 people just like him roaming around the world. So why all the extra security there's nothing special about him or Burke, or Daley, etc...that can't be replaced.

Besides we're told crimes down.

World-Class cities don't need to have they politico's guarded 24/7 why are we doing it? Why are we paying into perpetuity for Daley's private life and setting the stage for the clouted aldermen and the current mayor to do the same. This is not in their contracts.

Andre Jackson, 17, 3 weapons violations in 11 months.
If I, a taxpayer, get caught in my own home with an unloaded, unregistered firearm, I'm going to jail. And what happens if I register a weapon? Does my drivers license get flagged? Does Rahmbitch publish my address in Gangster Times?
WTF?
DNC speechifying all night long about rights for illegals, while assholes in Chicago strip the taxpayers of theirs.
I can't use the CPS, but I get to pay for it anyway. These fucks raise my property and income taxes, but give me less police protection. The shitheads show up in my parks and neighborhood to mug our kids and rob our homes, but we're racist?
And Bill Clinton comes on television last night to tell me the democrats are building a new economic foundation for a new America.

The violence will never stop. These people have no respect for the police. They have no respect for anyone or any thing. A simple stop to question about curfew turns to a gun battle. Where are the Parents? Ha. The parents. What a joke. This should be a front page story. Why is this "Child" out at this time? Why does this "child" have a gun? Why doesn't this "child" have any respect for the police who are just trying to do their job? A job that I'm sure they would much rather be doing somewhere where their efforts are appreciated.
Where are all the politicians and ministers now? Where are all the concerned citizens of the area?

I was at 26th and california the other day. The room I was in there was case in there a known gang member was caught with a pistol. He was charged with the Valadez Law, so instead of taking the case to trial the ASA decided to give the kid 18 months intentsive gang probation (G.I.P) I always thought if a gang member was charged with the Valadez Law it was an automatic minimum 3yrs in prison. It's nice to see that Anita and the judges of Cook County can pick and choose to enforce the laws as they wish. People wonder why crime is so out of control in Chicago because there are no consquences for your actions. The FOP should keep track of how many people have been charged with the Valadez Law and see what their sentences were.

Emanuel is serious about gun violence.

He's serious about increasing it.

He and his ilk is so bent on government control and removing the 2nd Amendment, they calculate increased gun violence will allow them to justify to the dolts that listen to them that the controls he and his ilk espouse as a result of the chaos they have created is justifed.

You can look to operations like Fast & Furious to evidence that.

And, it's unlikely Fast & Furious is the only asinine operation this crew has implimented to achieve there Marxist goals.
