Over 20 arrests, and 5 FELONY convictions!!! WTF, this dude had access to lock up, tac office, let alone the front office. Needless to say he was booted from 008, but I'm sure just put somewhere. No one knows this, but Rahm got rid of the Union cleanup crews!! Now look what we get! Please check up on these mutts.

I worked in 011 in the early 90's, left gun in office locker, came back , gone, three coppers guns missing, 4 vests missing. Turned out the janitor was stealing all short of shit from the police. Charged, convicted, 6 years but this in normal in ShitCago...
I slipped thru the cracks nine years ago. I still get a little stirring when I put on my duty belt. Anyone want to partner up? I'm lonely.
This has been going on for years. More than once we found the cleaning crew in 021, 15-20yrs ago sifting thru confidential information...dope money can be influential..and I guarantee these new cleaning crews are politically connected ...probably owned by an alderscumbags family...the Hispanic crews wanted to organize and BOOM they were let go..only to be replaced by the entitled..nuff said
when i worked in a northwest side district the cleanup guy stole $$ from the water, chips and pop fund in the tact office. about $20 or so. caught red handed. admitted it to everyone. he was not charged with theft or fired. just transfered to a different district. going back about 8 years..
I'll have the BGA look into it...

No paper shredders in 008 either and probabbly not in any other district either. So wear does all that sensitive paper work go? Ie printed rap sheets, name checks, gang/narc intel, officers notes, court notifications, old humper sheets, watch secretary paperwork with everyone's work and personal info on it. I've seen these guys rummaging thru the district trash. Be sure you tear up old paperwork as best as you can since I'm sure the department won't be providing us with shredders anytime soon.
You should see the company that cleans the ranges. Tear drops, names on the neck. Dots on the web of the hands etc. They've had full out fights on the ranges before too.
$8 an hour and whatever you can steal!
Oh I have some great news for you! In 025 we are not allowed to stop and talk to the thugs/tow truck drivers that JUST COME IN TO OUT STATION LIKE THEY OWN THE PLACE. Nope, they have no id, they have nothing that hangs on their neck identifying who they are. They just walk in to our station and do as they please. We can't even investigate who they say they are. Nope, the spineless bosses won't even back you. Also, offenders and their family in 025 can come into our station and do as they please. A few weeks ago, two desk officers were punched in the face simply because they told a piece of shit to wait in the waiting area and he said "no, I am going to walk around here".

There is a shredder in the supply room of the commanders office
Same thing in Area 2.....money was missing from snack can so they set up a camera and put some marked bills inside. The cleaning guy was caught taking the marked money and charged with theft.
The reason the guy in 008 got canned....Lt Scotchbreath blew a gasket when he caught him dipping into his alcohol"stash" and fired him on the spot.

Around 2000 the janitor at Homan was found with a stash of assorted ammo in a locker. I saw it myself. I dont think he was ever fired either.
What I don't understand is that we can get gas with no problem by swiping our ID card, so why can't station doors be secured at all times and entry made in the same way? You would always know who entered what door and when.
We can't even hire police with clean records and you expect janitors with one? Pass the bong, I want to know what dope you're smoking. Secure your property, trust nobody.

I work in 011 and at the beginning of the year a PO's cell phone was stolen from the locker room and it was the janitor. I'm believe the janitor was charged with stealing the phone,but I'm gonna say they just moved the janitor to another police station.
Love this city and how they look out for their officer. Sad thing is it would be the PO's fault if the janitor stole something out of our lockers.

HEY, listen to this. Had an informant in the police station not too long ago. The informant tells me does that guy work here? I say yea, he is the cleaning crew guy. The informant says that guy sells weed by the pounds. The informant remembered him from a while back but the informant moved. Sure as anything, checked on him and he did have a weed arrest. Gave the info to narcotics.

Remember Penny on 024? Used the phones at the desk to make personal phone calls all day. Constantly paged by our lightweight desk crew for incoming calls. Busted a crackhead on midnights. She walked up and asked that I give the creackhead a play because "she was from twenty four." I had to remind her that the reason she was in 024 was to clean a toilet bowl after my shit fell out of my ass.

How about the janitor from the old 023 dist that had an active warrant while he was working there. Guess someone finally found out about it and tac hooked him up when he showed up for work one day. Of course daley was the biggest thief of all and he was the mayor, that on top of the number of aldermen who have been indicted, it should be no surprise that we allow criminals to run our city.
To 11:46 my point is why can't the po do the investigation they are the police too, and I have been the affiant on at least 75 search warrants, and also sued haven't lost yet and in federal court the jury believed it a lot more because I had a John/Jane doe.
