No Guns for You!
Gunmakers are refusing to sell to law enforcement/government officials who attempt to restrict citizens' Rights:
- A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them.
According to The Police Loophole, 34 companies have joined in publicly stating that governments who seek to restrict 2nd Amendment rights will themselves be restricted from purchasing the items they seek to limit or ban.
Extreme Firepower Inc., located in Inwood, WV has had a longstanding policy that states:
"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms...If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction."
And a lot of these companies aren't mom & pop operations. There are some big names in there. Barrett Arms, LaRue, Rock River. Beretta USA is moving out of Maryland should certain laws pass and MagPul has notified Colorado of its intention to move on short notice. Illinois, which surprisingly has a number of arms manufacturers based here, is one notice from a number of companies that they will be taking factories and skilled high-paying jobs out-of-state in the current atmosphere.

Spikes Tactical is a great company and very police friendly one at that. They posted a pretty long statement saying the same thing. They will not sell where the average citizen is unable to buy.

They aren't coming to Texas......why does someone always give Texas a pat on the back like it is so great. The state capital is run by just as many democraps any other blue state. As a retired guy who left the crappy city as fast as he could and moved to Texas thinking it was a good idea, I'm now moving out of this completly screwed up state. It is a right to work state and they fire public safety so often it's a revolving door which in turn renders the police useless and without any nuts to be the police. The gun laws here are not any better than any other state, though you would think they should be. Now I for one am a Chicago'n but excaped but will always call the city home. Go on AR-15.com and find the Chicago city flag post in the Texas folder and see how the shitkicker hillbillies mock the city. Again don't make the mistake of moving to Texas, your retirement will not go far. AZ or NM is the place to be.... as the drill sgt said strata and qears and the only thing from Texas.....

States making rules tht adversely effect businesses in their own State. That business moves out, adversely effecting the State.
Politicians should be voted out every term so we don't have to spend the time and money tar and feathering them. Career politicians, like career criminals, should be put down.
I would be willing to bet this is happening already.
China counterfeits all kinds of quality name brand goods and infringes on patents, trademarks and copyrights.
So since there is a Obama/Biden/George Soros planned shortage of ammunition then I bet that China and other countries would be willing to make a fast American Buck by counterfeiting and smuggling in quality brands of ammo.

they are cutting off the CPD nose to spite their faces to.. so many of us are waiting till we know WHERE the gun companies go,, which states are gun friendly as well as freedom friendly and we will be moving on out,,. this will leave even LESS taxpayer in the state to pay the pensions they FORGOT to make sure were funded.. wonder what they will give you guys when the well is dry cause all that is left are illegals (who won't pay taxes and have NO intention of becoming legal) and those getting a government dollars.. GEE the boys in SPRINGFIELD aren't the sharpest tools in the shed..

I don't blame these companies for restricting sales to LEOs. It sends a message to the jack asses in the Capitol(s).

Come to sunny Florida. I did for my intel job with CENTCOM, and I'm never going back to Chicago except for the odd (and brief) vacation.
It took me a long, long time to realize that the city of my birth, my hometown, and the state I called my own changed beyond all recognition. Apparently, Chicago 'values' these days refers to gay 'marriage' and other absurdities... Dear God - what happened?!
My family and I hate what the city and state have become, and so we left. We will never again underwrite with our taxes the theft and idiotic lefty ideas that arise from City Hall and Springfield. Life's too short to live like a serf.
