What's going on with the promotion for Lt and Sgt?
75. Michigan Ave
79 of them. All going to Traffic Section. RDO Thursday and then detailed to PR Fest for the weekend. Monday they go back to Traffic to stand around on Michigan Av and work the home game details for the next month.
But how many have retired this year? Will the new hires even cover that?
just send them to the districts i need some time due dammit!! fucken dept. has gone to shits..4 ppo's to an fto in a squad...wtf!!! come on FTO'S grow some nuts and protest!!! Ya'll just eating the shit up...1 DOR for 4, so the company's making out, not to mention ppo's aint learning shit cuz they are stuck with a burnt out FTO! I was told that PPO's are going to be in squad cars together. They will be assigned to a box much like VRI. They will not be allowed to leave the box, if they need to use the head a SGT. will have to pick them up and drive them to the station. Come lunch time, same thing. This is what happens when you write ideas down on paper when you are drunk.

I have heard that the promotion list of 500 Sgt's and 300 Lt's is being posted tomorrow evening. What have you heard?
Not to 005 where they are so short Time due does not exist.
No Lt or Sgt promotion until after summer
Sit tight guys. Another batch of 120 are finishing up in August/early September. There will be plenty of Recruits to stand around, lol

They can look forward to driving shit like this. It really looked great parked in the middle of Michigan Ave. A great thing to showcase.

I heard that EVERY single sworn Officer is going to be made Sgt. or Lt.
They can look forward to driving shit like this. It really looked great parked in the middle of Michigan Ave. A great thing to showcase.

BTW, apparently the connected contractor uses Teflon for primer.
When I came on the job 17 years ago, I was very lucky to be trained by 2 great F.T.O's. I was even more lucky to have had the support of many old times, who were there to assist and teach me the right way of getting the job done.
I hope OTHER POLICE OFFICERS in the Districts try to be as helpful to these young recruits, as we CAN all be. Remember that these kids will be taking our places, and if we still have it, they will be supporting our
pension.
I REALLY HOPE THAT WHAT EVER RESENTMENT WE MIGHT HAVE AGAINST OUR STUPIDVISORS, WE DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THESE NEW KIDS. THESE RECRUITS ARE NOT THE PROBLEMS CREATED BY OUR SO CALLED "LEADERS".

The smell of ass, leather gym shoes worn with no socks for several years and that plastic bag jammed in the glove box containing the remains of an unfinished catfish dinner with coleslaw...
P.S.
Those bare metal body parts will NEVER hold a coat of paint no matter how much you sand because some asshole poured brake fluid on the car...
for all of you worried aboutr the promotion list, word is there are to many stupid Sgts LTs, and above so no promotions you dont need any more.
