Thanks for someone admitting this on a public forum. Who exactly has Lisa Madigan prosecuted? Zero politicians and there have been several high profile candidates. Daley, that goes without saying, basically handed everything to him and his family has written the book on legal theft. How many family members are due six figure pensions? Quinn, good guy but as Alec Baldwin says in GlenGarry Glen Ross, go home and play with your kids or grandkids. We need a leader not a follow. How many of those meet once a month boards with six figure salaries and six figure pensions still exist? And lets not even get started on the pensions. My god, what a fiasco that has become.
Oh God no ! I will vote for anyone but Madigan,Daley or Quim.
Someone sterilize these people so this family dynasty crap ends.
Nor sure yet what R's will run, but most look like the same old political hacks.

Bill Daley has announced for one reason and one reason only: to keep some unknown (maybe a real reformer) out of the race. He will bow out at a later date and we will be happy (ha) to have little Lisa to contend with and not the Family Corrupt.
The fact that a Daley could show his face in this City or state without being spit upon shows how truly clueless the voters are and corrupt this political system is.

All we can hope for is the downstate people to wake up and back ANYBODY but the winner of this in the General Election or we are all screwed.

C'mon SCC. Aren't you being a little unfair to Lisa? I think you need to look at her record as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Illinois. Look at what she's accomplished. She successfully sued movie theaters forcing them to provide the means for deaf patrons to hear what's being said on the silver screen as they watch a movie.
Political corruption you ask? Why hasn't the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Illinois gone after political corruption you ask? Why not one, single investigation or indictment in the most corrupt state in the nation, perhaps even the world? Once again I think you are nitpicking. So what if she hasn't used her power to investigate those politicians who betray the public trust. Who would she go after?

Bill Daley was the brains behind the Stuttering Dwarf. I remember when "Lil" Dick ran for Mayor against Washington and Byrne, it was Daley who split the White vote and got Washington elected. Bill ran "Lil" Dick's campaign. Bill Daley has made millions, like Rahm from his White House experience and connections. Apparently POWER means more to these people than money.

thus, before term limits can become law, the lawmakers, ie., the current crop of miscreants, must no longer be the makers of law.
