Shootings Galore
- Three people were killed and at least three others -- including a 7-year-old boy -- were wounded in shootings today in the city.
- Four men were killed and at least 13 other people were wounded in shootings throughout the city so far this holiday weekend.
And the holiday weekend is scheduled to go three more days. Tick-Tock

(OT) recently any Cpd officer took her life! Not getting into details on a public blog, but please look out for each other, any indication at all of mental anguish lets help our brothers and sisters out anyway we can! This is becoming much to common, the stress of this job, stress of ballets bosses, stress of children, and other life stresses are overwhelming at times and we must look out for each other, first and foremost!

I just can't wait to hear the "GunMagnet"'s spin on things in the morning. As predicted, the weather is warming up. And so are the homicides. BTW since the redline has stopped have the wildings dropped? Even cutting off the traffic doesn't seem to slow them down. It will make some graph comparisons pretty interesting matches for homicide and weather

I received my FOP letter today and in it there was the article concerning a disciplinary case concerning three off-duty Chicago police officers and a four time convicted felon.
Now gentlemen, I ask you, how can you expect any employee to further your political careers when they know of, read about or are victims themselves of IPRA's headhunters.

Gonna have to break down these homicide stats into more categories and find a reason to drop these homicides in column "A" from being counted because they are somehow different than those homicides over there in column "B" In-nies and out-ties are no longer enough.
This is necessary in order to come up with a number that show homicides are down.
Like violent and non-violent. SEE, non-violent crime is down BECAUSE WE ARE IN A NEVER ENDING BACKLOG AND CITIZENS ARE NOT GOING TO PUT THEIR LIFE ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND HOURS WAITING FOR A PAPER CAR TO SHOW UP AND TAKE A COMPLAINT.
