Felix was a class act, pure and simple. This will be a huge loss to the workers at OCD, and I am certain, an even bigger loss to his family.

The CPD lost a very good man. To those who never had the pleasure of meeting Felix, or working with him, I can assure you — you missed out.

To those who knew Felix, worked with him and had the pleasure to meet him, I'm sure you can attest to my thoughts.

RIP & Godspeed Felix. You work here is done.

Felix was a very decent fellah; those of us who worked with him back in our 004 tact days recall him as a good officer, always willing to lend a hand, who was always honest. He will truly be missed by all of us who knew and worked with him.

I shared many laughs over the years with Felix. His passing was tragic news. He was a genuinely nice man who worked hard at all his endeavors. I always looked for the light reflecting off his shiny dome on the bench during home Hawk broadcasts! Godspeed, Felix. You have been summoned by your Maker.

I was watching the game and saw that moment of remembrance and respect. Brought a tear to my eye. The Blackhawks are a class organization.

Thank you Mr. Wirtz. Thank you to the entire staff.

Can you police officers out there imagine what kind of city we could have here if the elected leadership of this city treated it's police department with such dignity and respect? Can you imagine if the actions of all your co-workers brought out respect and admiration such as Felix earned through his career?

Everyone from the Blackhawks Organization from players down to front office people should always receive a play from Chicago Police. Period. Everything they've done for our fallen officers, from fund raisers to donating items just highlights the great organization they have.

Thank you Blackhawks, You're what the CPD should be; a class act. Felix, my brother, you will be missed by many on the CPD and especially your family. The good LORD decided he needed your sense of humor in Heaven at this time for whatever his reason. Godspeed my friend from 004, 022, Sox Park, United Center and Ragtime.

Please take care of ALL BLACKHAWK PERSONNEL ON THE STREET OR ON CALLS. I've met many in person and all of them are good down to earth people. Very humble for professional athletes. All of them are a class act.

We don't ask for much recognition as cops, but when a symbol of our city such as the Blackhawks takes it upon themselves to recognize our sacrifice--especially this officer who made the ultimate--it makes me traditionally proud to be a Chicago cop. Thank you Hawks, rest in peace Felix.

I've had the honor and pleasure to work with Felix at the UC and US Cellular for the last 7 years. Felix treated everyone with respect and was always friendly to everyone. He was one of the few CPD officers I know that pointed some of us Suburban PO'S towards other part-time jobs to make extra money. We all lost a great man.....Thoughts and prayers to his family...R.I.P. Felix...You will be missed by many my friend....
