Ol' Cholly Williams will announce his ever famous "zero tolerance" campaigns as punishment for everyone else because the fire got turned up under HIS chair...
He was nothing if not predictable whenever he THOUGHT he was going to have to take some heat.
He's going to SPAR, C/R, jack-pot and black-ball Mother Nature for not sending a thaw in a timely fashion.

Is this the same Charlie Williams who as Deputy Chief of Area 4 told a staff meeting 18 months after 9-11 that, "It is impractical to train individual officers to respond to a terrorist attack."

Training Board would issue us the funds for Chicago's In-service Training Grant, Infrastructure
Grant, Death Investigation Grant, and CIT Grant we would then pay their training related bills once
approval was received from the Board and the Chicago Police Deparhent. A total of $587,312 was
received for all four funds and all but $161,956 was distributed during FY 2013 for this program,
with this amount being carried over to Fiscal year 2014." REALLY???

He has to do so many years to get a SECOND pension... 10 years perhaps.
Little TOMMY Bryne is pissed off because he got knocked out off that $180,000 S & S spot and got "dumped" to Park District security Director for only $140,000 a year.
He is a year or 2 away from STEALING a second pension.
Ex-Mayor Daley... STILL not in the Federal penitentiary.

(OT) just a crazy question, what happens when shields has his hearing in front of fop national board, and if he wins reinstatement, will this election be tossed? Will the people elected who screwed shields be thrown out and be replaced by hand picked shields team? I know it's crazy but?

Do either of you read the news or follow the changes in law?
Williams took this job long after Chicago passed its ordinance that no one can get a second City pension if they started working at a 2nd City job after a certain date (maybe 01 Jan 2012, but not sure and not inclined to go hunt it down).
When the law went into effect, a couple of CPD bosses jumped ship, in order to be able to get in on the pension at the job they were about to move to. By law, Williams is not eligible for a second City pension.
I see a pattern here....
People who screw up the Chicago Police Department go to other City of Chicago Departments to screw them up
OR
People who have screwed up other police departments in other cities come here and further destroy the Chicago Police Department.
Tommy Byrne, receives one city pension. Byrne now works for the park district, from which he may receive another pension.

Clueless!! Scmuless!! It was ignorant arrogant merit promoted asses like Charlie Williams that kept us un prepared.
Maybe what saved our city from a mass casualty Al-Q attack is that BHO lives here...
Yep! You know the City gets paid from the Standards and Training Board when you pass the State Test requirements, for the full cost of tuition.
And the next Superintendent is??? He qualifies!!!
It's about time Mother Nature got credit. Years ago (Yeah, I mean over a decade ago), a certain Near North captain used to browbeat his troops every month with the quotas they weren't making, sorry, we don't have quotas, so the numbers weren't up enough.
This particular wintry month had been exceptional, and he was apparently feeling magnanimous, so he issued forth praise on how auto thefts were down by two-thirds, good work guys!
Kinda hard for citizens, OR bad guys, to move cars stuck in four-foot drifts. Hmmm. Snow? D'oh!
Why do they keep putting coppers to run S&S? They have no one to promote from within? I get the clout thing, but your telling me there's no one with clout in S&S who can run it? Track record Lil Tommy Byrne did a fine job in the Blizzard of 2011. LSD fiasco. Now the winter of 2014. I saw a plow down my street today, first one since the winter started. Seriously.
