Coppers Hurt in Accident
- Two officers responding to a call were injured late Sunday night after a car blew the stop signal and crashed into their squad car in the city's East Garfield Park neighborhood.
Shortly before midnight, the officers were responding to a call of shots fired and were near the 0 to 99 block of North Kedzie Avenue, said Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
A sedan ran the red light and crashed into the squad car. The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was taken into custody, said Alfaro.
The officers were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.

Glad the officers were not severely injured. Get well soon guys. Also hope that the most excellent CPD mechanics and body shop men can get the squad car back in action. If not they can take pieces of this car and use them to fix up another downed car.

I just caught this at the end of a story on Fox news on line. It was a story on CNN and an interview with George zimmerman. At the end of the story, the article brings up a that on 18 Dec. 2013, PBS flagship WNET had a press release. They are running a series titled "The Pension Peril" by David Sirota. This is gonna run on 100's of PBS channels nation wide. It's a slanted series that takes on unions and pensions and the need to GET RID OF THE PENSION SYSTEM. Its gonna air on 100's of PBS channels nation wide.
According into PANDO DAILY website ( they broke this story), This series is funded by former ERON trader John Arnold. He is a huge political power broker.
We all know PBS is nothing more than a tax payer paid for network that spews anti-American values. Since this is a series, its gonna run week after week. This is a huge nation wide attack on our financial future. Turn off PBS. Cut 100% of taxpayer money to the network.
Get well officers. Take this opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones. There will be plenty of crime when you return, so get plenty of rest, contemplate contact card generation strategies and return fresh.
Switching gears on this President’s day, has anyone noticed a factual misrepresentation of President Lincoln at Northeastern Illinois Jacob Carrother’s Center for Inner City Studies on the prominently displayed bronze plaque at the entrance of the campus at 700 E. Oakwood Blvd in 002. The plaque reads: "Abraham Lincoln, a Democrat... freed the slaves." I may have not attended this institution of higher learning or some may say indoctrination, but I believe President Lincoln was a Republican. These prospective scholars and wizards of smart have entered into this building on a daily basis since 1966 and no one has discovered nor challenged this factual error. Call it revisionist history. Or is this institution cultivating cerebral lemmings. If such a historical inaccuracy occurs at the front door, what factual inaccuracies are perpetrated on students in those classrooms behind closed doors? A quality education starting at the front door with super smart professors.

Second if you would do us a favor and create a post about the identities being stolen from the 015th District, I would appreciate it. I was a victim of ID theft late last year and I am sure it was a result of this case. Basically anyone who worked in 015 in 1999 to 2008 has or could be compromised. There is a case report generted under HX 153727. Apparently all the information was obtained from when the 015th District was closed. It sure is nice to know they secured all of our personal information before boarding the place up and leaving it behind. I don't know who it happened but I can say that someone in charge has some explaining to do.
FYI, I received this email this morning via CPD: on yesterday's date the below case report was submitted in the 015th district. A "Roster of the 15th district personnel report," dated April 9, 1999, was recovered and inventoried. It listed everyone assigned or detailed in 015 from the last initial of "F" to "Z" from the listed date. The report included SS#, home phone, DOB, & home address as of April 9, 1999. The offender is known but not in custody. My identity was stolen in November and accounts were opened in my name in Alabama. Another person who was assigned to 015 during this time frame had the same thing happen to him as well.

What is ERON?
I live in Lyons and always see smashed up CPD wagons and patrol cars. It's Knight Painting & Restoring on Plainfield road. Shouldn't this contract be in the city of Chicago?
SCC check into shithead grabbed in 015 who had CPD identities going back to 1999. Some of the coppers on the list have already been victim's of identity theft. Not sure where leak came from maybe 015 front office or CPD Personnel.
If you are a city worker and acknowledge Rahm at one of his Photo Ops like at Street and San today you should be slapped.

The only ones watching PBS are the zombified nitwits that believes what MSNBC tells them. It will not sway a single viewer because they already think that way, so relax.
More importantly, vote for anyone that promises to defund PBS. There is absolutely no reason for our tax dollars to be spent here.
By the way, I saw Rahm had one of his body guards bring a case of duct tape out to the Area garage. That car should be up and back in service by tonight.
The lack of veh's has hit crisis level. When the bulk of the watch is doubled or tripled up in veh's that are so bad they used to be pool cars that is a serious safety issue. With the manpower depleted to crisis level there should be an abundance of veh's could someone in the media please expose this instead of Rahm giving thumbs up to snowplow drivers.

Most companies in the city know City Hall is a slow - or NO - pay, for services rendered.

Come on media. Step up and look into this story. Officers sitting around waiting for cars to become available is a waste of money. Having 3 to 4 cops in a car is a waste of manpower. You got a good story so run with it. Is there so much political mayhem that you guys can't up????

The plaque of Lincoln was noticed immediately after it was installed, years ago. Notice that it was never replaced or corrected. Maybe if we can replace the Democratic Governor with a Republican, we can then get a corrected replacement of the plaque at a state university.

Turns out, details matter.
The original poster used a capital 'D' in the word democrat. In fact, the sign uses a SMALL 'd', which makes all the difference.
Here's a quote from a friend who works there.
"That plaque and building date from 1903 and the small case 'd' in democrat does not reflect party affiliation but rather allegiance to the concept of democracy."
