It is even sadder for the other hundred or so of us who submitted PAR forms that did not get us out. What was once a decent place to work has become a true shit-hole.
When is the last time a transfer order came out and wasnt immediately rescinded, and then amended? Just say'n....

The first order is for bid spots and the second one looks like management spots.

actually now that Ladner is gone--the 5th floor is doing exactly as they please (when it comes to details/assignments)---these first 2 orders are just setting the stage for other moves

Hold on 015th district officers, it's gonna get worse before it get's better, especially those on 1st watch. The officers that left (not all) were truly the working police and will be missed. A lot of the mass exodus is due to the clueless hack running the district, yes I'm talking about you Barb West. This is what happens when dip shits are put in positions of authority, just look at our country.

One of the orders was just quietly placing the folks who were detailed. G-Mac said they don't detail in New York so we don't detail in Chicago. Everyone was either placed in the unit they have been on loan to or their detail was cancelled; we'll on paper that it. They will now be assigned to the district but secretly working at the unit of detail. Not many real changes, just another move to make it look like patrol is stacked but in reality just more smoke and mirrors. How can a sergeant assigned to the 17th District work out of the Area 2 Chief of Patrol's office? How much 17th District work can he get accomplished? How does he find time to log cars, ride on jobs, supervise the troops, conduct CR investigations and check off his subordinates all while working the administrative position way down in Area 2 Patrol? But, truth be told he's assigned to 017 and not detailed to Area 2 Patrol. Not
detailed, but just works there. I'm sure it's a similar situation with many who had their detail cancelled. They'll do anything so the city hall mascot don't have to hire more cops and waste precious tax dollars that are destined for his friends. The Garry and Rahm show continues--
Once again they turn water into wine. Ohare is supposed to be 50%/50% bid and clout. so they have a bid for 8 spots, 2 of whome gave up Dicks pay and Canine pay due to being thrilled with those spots.
Then a few days later they come out with their clout transfer. 13 clout babies to O'hare. So since even they figure were smart enough to know 8 does equal 13 their out must be the unit itself must be 50% bid and 50% clout and this current round of card tricks makes the unit that.
But since nobody is going to bother to count who is bid and who is clout, most of all our fucking union, they got both ends covered.
I couldnt even get a call back from the union today. Yaknow they are big shots. They take your name and unit and then decide if your important enough to bother calling back.
I thank the Lord for the paycheck and the good people Ive met in my career but im so fucking tired of this clout fucking bullshit.

Both females that have been taken care of since day one. Whether it was the 4 hour tours in Caps or imaginary Mayor's detail car that did the quick reliefs and then scooted (R.R.) or the other one who whined her way inside every chance she could get especially when having kids (T.T.)

Wrong. Every order does not have to be 50-50. Management could of had 4 owed to them from one or more previous orders where they did not fill their allotment. A running tally is kept and FOP is kept in the loop.

I can't wait to see if all the 'greyed out' names on the A&A's actually disappear, from the A&A's or are going to be sprinkled amongst the people actually in the district. If they're sprinkled in the regular names, I can't wait to put them on a car. 5 promotions (not replaced) and 9 on the medical, my watch could use the help. Hey, who's dat officer Down anyway?

Thank all the sheep who told you to vote all the Citywide team out. Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it. Like 3 years of J-Fed and now the reign of GMac. At least when Cline was in, we had a boss that was pro-police. Now we have someone who don't give a fuck about this department or how moral is in the shitter. In the last 6 years this department has become a miserable fucking job, with clueless asshole bosses. Thanks to J Fed and G Mac, every decent boss that was left were forced out. The main requirement to be an exempt is to have no street sense and love to fuck over every copper working or not. There used to be cops years ago that dogged jobs, but they had over 20 years of kicking ass. Now there are a handful that work and they are too shallow to know the bosses will fuck them over in the blink of an eye. So outside of watching each others back, you have to be insane to do anything more than a report or an arrest on signed complaints. Fuck movers, parkers, ANOV's or being aggressive. Do what is needed and no more. The Mayor hates the police. The Superintendent hates the fucking police. Most of the ghetto hood rats and white liberals hate the police. So might as well give them a solid reason to hate us. Can't be sued when you just do what is necessary and nothing more. Let the savages kill each other.
