Eight More Wounded Tuesday (UPDATE)
- At least eight people have been wounded today in separate shootings on the city's Northwest, South and West sides, said police.
The latest shooting happened about 5:15 p.m. in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood, said police.
And that's only before dinner on Tuesday - the night is/was young.

Seriously? How many people are shot in a week in Chicago?
I mean, if your not even going to attempt to kill each other off why even shoot? Arm, leg, leg, ass, arm, thigh, and my personal favorite... Foot. How the fuck do you shoot a rival.. Oops I mean "OPP/OPPOSITION"(gotta remember to speak in my chiraq lingo) in the foot?! Sit the hell down some where, let the decent folks (and peoples) and kids enjoy the freakin' summer if your not going to wipe each other out. Kill shot to wound shot ratio is disgusting. Spray and pray at it's finest.

We went to the recognition lunch yesterday cuz one of our team got an award. The fucking superintendent gave the RJD medal to that dick of a self proclaimed "community activist" Andrew Holmes. What the fuck did he ever do for the CPD except blames us for everything that goes wrong in the ghetto?

Why does the news continuously call Humboldt Park the NorthWest side? Anything after Cortland/Grand (well Bloomingdale technically) is the west side. Anything before is obviously the northwest side.
While I'm at it, to sly landlords on the internet: the Near West Side is NOT the loop! Yes you have beautiful townhomes and Condos, but any Chicagoan with half a brain knows they are where the projects used to be or near by. I'm not scared of the area! just be honest!
