Stop Making Sense
Here's an State's Attorney without much of a future ahead of him:
- A southwestern Illinois prosecutor says motorists along a stretch of Interstate 64 don't need to pay speeding tickets resulting from law-enforcement cameras because the fine-collection process isn't legal.
St. Clair County State's Attorney Brendan Kelly tells the Belleville News-Democrat he doesn't have qualms with the cameras being used in East St. Louis to catch speeding motorists.
But Kelly says the citations don't conform in format, size or content to Illinois Supreme Court requirements. And he isn't sure why the alleged infractions are classified as non-moving violations.
Follow the rules? Where does this guy think he's working? Rules are for suckers. And Illinois is full of suckers you know. Mr. Kelly ought to be careful lest he get drafted to run for higher office and actually try to straighten out this crooked state.

He must not have realized he was in Illinois.
Illinois is fucking disgusting. About a month after I moved from Illinois to Montana, I got a ticket from the state of Illinois in the mail. The red light camera in Chicago Ridge got me. Even though I was no longer living in that cesspool, I still had to fork over $100. Thankfully, it got forwarded to me only a few days before the first deadline. Then, I would have had to fork over even more money if that deadline passed! NO other state is like Illinois as far as government corruption goes and how much they screw over the public in order to line their fat fucking pockets!!
I still can't believe people try to spin Hellinois and SHITcago as great places to live. Anyone who does this is probably on the payroll of the Chicago democratic party machine. LOL!
Imagine that!! A lawyer wanting to follow Court ordered rules?
Glad to see we still have a few good Americans left.
Sad.
Nothing works in East St. Louis.
Chicago is going to whine and complain that they can't steal any monies from Motorists with their illegal Red and Speed camera antics!
Just because the technology is there, that does NOT excuse the fact that we still have rule of law and the U.S. Constitution that must be followed, technology be damned!
Da Pelon
Finally, someone speaks up. If this guy gets fired, I'll run his fundraiser. Where the heck is St. Claire County?
ROAD TRIP!
@1212 not that im a big fan of red light cameras, but had you just stopped you wouldn't have gotten a ticket.
Apparently Rahm has missed the boat on this one. A local municipality puts up speed cameras on an Interstate, then gets a connected outfit to issue local ordinance violation tickets so the municipality doesn't have to share the revenue with anyone but the connected outfit. Brilliant! And this State's Attorney can't figure out why the tickets don't conform or are issues as non-movers? He mustn't get out very much.
Slow down and it won't be a problem !!!
Rahm wouldn't put up with a free thinker like this for even an instant. Rahm's got no place for people that tell the truth and look out for the little guy.
Guys like this are popping up on both public and private sectors. People are getting tired of being victims to the savage and their care takers. In due time, we shall overcome.
