Yesterday, we posted about the disturbing habit of Illinois to enroll the dead in healthcare - and pay for it to the tune of $12 million.

- Maybe they need to video tape people who are receiving healthcare? Na, it's just taxpayer money at risk, and there's plenty of that to go around. So tax the lemonade stands to pay for healthcare of dead people.
If you haven't been following the news recently, Rahm is determined to make it as expensive, inconvenient and humiliating as possible to actually buy a gun in city limits:
- The Emanuel administration has outlined a plan to impose strict regulations on gun shops that open within city limits, including a requirement to record every sale on video.
[...]Under Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s proposed, gun shops in Chicago could not be located within 500 feet of a school or park – limiting them to very small pockets of the city covering less than .5 percent of Chicago.
The shops would have to install exterior lighting, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems, and provide secure storage of guns and ammunition. Police would have to approve a store’s security plan before it could open.
Cameras would have to record all sales of guns, and shops would not be allowed to sell more than one handgun per month to a single customer.
Aside from a person-to-person sale, we would never buy a gun in the city or county. The taxes, the inconvenience, the nonsensical harassment of a law abiding citizen? While the state pisses away millions on health care for dead people?
Maybe Rahm ought to be demanding video taping and a Certifying Doctors Statement of Independent Breathing to get health care rather than harassing people who just want to exercise their Rights.

These regs violate the spirit of the Cout's ruling regarding gun sales in the City.
Lawsuits will be filed and the city will piss away millions fighting a case that is a loser.

Our own stations aren't secure yet the department can determine whether or not a gun store's security is up to par? What a joke. The department can't even prevent assholes from loosening lug nuts on police vehicles in police lots! I love how politicians think of every possible way to interfere with law abiding citizens who want to reserve their constitutional right to bear arms and yet do nothing to deter these assholes with guns on the streets who will continue to harm, kill, and rob citizens regardless of what ever guns laws/restrictions are in place. As usual everything is ass backwards in Chicago. Corrupt politicians, worthless judicial system, and too many people to prey on for criminals. But hey while we're at it let's fuck with the average citizen and make him feel like the criminal. This city sucks!!!

I wonder what the ID would look like. Oh that's right, asking a dead person for an ID is discriminatory.

What Rahm proposes is just common sense gun control and necessary to reduce gun violence.
State Lawmakers undoubtedly have a handle on Illinois's undead population. Don't doubt them.
So Rahm' s going to limit a right to be exercised only once a month. No lawsuit will come of that at taxpayer expense.
Don't forget the crook county $25 gun tax as we'll. Cabelas in Hoffman Estates collects it too FYI. Go to Gat's instead.

GARFIELD RIDGE RESIDENTS. There is a company out there buying up houses in the neighborhood for cash! They are then renting these houses on a mass scale. If u drive around the neighborhood you'll see a lot of purple for rents signs out there. God knows who there renting these houses too. I'm sure they'd have no qualms about section 8 these houses. In short....if ur selling ur house please don't sell it to this company. I know a cash offer is tempting, but it will ruin this neighborhood.... One of the last good ones left!

I'm torn on this. On one hand I want to buy a gun from a dealer in Chicago to support that dealer and help him grow and prosper and to piss off Rahm. On the other hand I do not want to add one single cent to the city coffers. What to do, what to do?

Speaking of buying a gun in the county, I wonder how much money Cook County actually raked in with its $25 per gun tax on firearm purchases after a full year of being on the books? That “Violence Tax” went into effect on April 1, 2013.
$600,000 was the number being touted by Cook County.

The only thing Raccoon Eyes wants to video tape is honest citizens buying guns at soon to be Chicago gun stores. Got to keep a wary eye on those trying to purchase guns to protect themselves from criminals and gangsters. And of course video taping any of us who blow a red light or go too fast in restricted zones.

Actually....... you do not think that any gunstore does not already video tape the transactions? The Rural King in Champaign was hit not once, but 2x by the beast and stole 30+ guns. So locking them up in a safe is reasonsable. What is not, is the one sale per month. Now that is illegal as hell.

Back around the turn of the century, ahem, 1999...California Democrats championed the idea of a 'Motor-Voter' program where newly licensed drivers would automatically be registered to vote. Gov. Quinn has now given us the 'Croker-Voter' program where the newly deceased are registered for health care and also are registered to vote.
They could start video recording the City Council meetings.
There's nothing to hide,right?
