New Use of Farce

So, now that we've been shown in no uncertain terms that DeEscalante is throwing the Department under the bus that Rahm is driving through the ghetto, we needed a new Use of Force Model.

Behold! (click for the larger version):

Question: when is the last time our use of force policy has been changed?
Are they saying that its been wrong this whole time?

NYAAAAAHAHAHAAAAH!

"I hit you.
...with something."

What?
No kicks?

No slaps?

No snatching the hair
out of an armpit?

No toe stomps/shin kicks with our
heavy, hard soled/steel toed
boondockers?

(A 240 pound toe stomp and a sharp eye slap
used to bring street level clownery/doing the fool to a halt.)

>Stomp! Smack!<
Toe throbbing.
Nose running.
Eye watering.

Subject of laser focused attention writhing on the ground
not knowing which hurty part to soothe first.

"My man... You cool? Or do you want some on the other side
for a matched set?"

"Dayum office! >Poot!< S'cuse me...
Maann... You ain't have to hit me like THAT!"

Instant compliance when the music stoped playing though...

Be assured that all isn't blue collar/working class irascibility in our world.

Funnin' and foolin' SCC style...

SCC--
You are failing to acknowledge the long standing pattern of the military.
Observe:
Shell Shock-->Battle Fatigue-->Operational Exhaustion-->PTSD

If you can't handle the truth of the REQUIRED action, merely change its description so as to make it more palatable. Hence "Talking" to someone begets voluntary compliance. Which in turn morphs into Verbal Judo. And now we have Force Mitigation. (I wonder if he was having lunch with George Lucas when this ripe apple of an idea was plucked?)
At the end of the day, even the dogs can get people to comply on the vast majority of jobs. But the talk therapy ends when someone ups a weapon.

Lamentably the father of this little darling put his downstairs neighbor in harms way due to FEAR. The same FEAR (read--> reasonable belief that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or another) which precipitated a trained response by responding officers.

In an interview with the Tribune on Thursday, interim Chicago police Superintendent John Escalante attributed the drop in police-involved shootings to "better training" and "better front-line supervision," even though the Police Department and the city have come under national scrutiny for the way they handle such incidents, in light of the killing of 17-year-old McDonald by Officer Jason Van Dyke in 2014.

Supervision? Really?

The use of force model was pioneered, I think, by a CPD instructor who went on to make a lot of money testifying in court cases. It can save your ass or convict you. But, I would not trust the current acting superintendent. He is a multiple merit promote, has the strong backing of the latino politicos, and wants the job. I believe that he will do anything to get the job and will not be in your corner unless the Pope witnessed your actions.Rahm wants to stay mayor and no one is indispensable.

Escalante is there to take that certain phone call from that certain somebody who he is beholden to-and it's not is policemen-no matter how absurd, unworkable, or immoral. He's no different than the all-merit Area Six and Area Five crews that worked overtime to undermine Koschmann when the call, or text message came in directing that it needed to be done. And its curious how he spent his formative years on the job in narcotics honing his skills under the watchful eye of Phil "Can I take your coat Mr. Hanhardt" Cline as did so many of our exempts. So, what did you expect from the newest LAPA representative to take the top spot? I knew better. Now here's your own diploma!

Supervision? Really?

Anyone trying to give a reason is talking bs. There are so few police involved shootings that it comes down to randomness. The actions of the offenders have much more of a bearing on the number of shooting than the actions of the police. Might as well attribute climate change to the change in numbers.

Hit what need to be hit, tase what needs to be tased and shoot what needs to be shot. Whether you plan to be fetal or not you are going to be called to shit that turns bad. Unless your idea is to park and code your job from the hole and get yourself jammed up, you stand the chance of being ass deep in doo-doo after what was thought would be mundane shit. Just be ready for it and plan to use whatever force necessary to go home and service the people who need help if you can. There will be paperwork and lawsuits, your politicians and lawyers have clearly established that, so go to work with the idea that you'll do whatever you have to in order to go home and get your partner home too. If an assailant needs an asp, a shock or a bullet, your going to have to give it to him, so don't hesitate or you'll get maimed, and think of what that will do to your family. Plan that shit is going to go bad, and if it doesn't, even better.

Even when he was a p.o. everyone knew he was an inside guy. He was spotted at some very influential circles. Isn't it amazing how some people just rise one position after another? From p.o. to sgt. to lt. then lt. in bomb and arson and then so on and so on. In exchange, favors are owed and traded. It is the Chicago way- everyone owes someone something, including their soul. I am not just talking about Esalante, but the whole system.

Whither goes the agenda and narrative now?

This:
-Chicago Police Shot Fewer People in 2015-

"But, but, but!
They killin' up all our
young black mens for no
good reason!"

"Da black communerty needs to take ovah CeePeeDee!"

"De-fund CeePeeDee an' give da money to us!"

CeePeeDee is outta control!"

Loretta LynchACop has the DOJ Civil Rights party bus
revving and back-firing in front of City Hall to help deflect
heat from Rahm's narrow shitty ass.

So...
22 or 25 Police involved shootings with 9 kills and one
awful accident out of nearly 3000 shootings with 460-some
fatal gunshots...

Let's see "Staring Asshole" go out on a corner and get up
in the grille of one of armed members of Dude Inc. so we
can see how brave he is...

Policemen get fucked with in Chicago because because
there is no fear of political or personal punishment from/retaliation by
The Police.

WHOOOO!

If we would ONLY fight back!

There IS a way but our so called bargaining
unit has never had a taste for blood unless
it was by those used to eating crumbs from the mayor's
table, turning on those who seek to expose the turncoats
in our ranks.

Interesting times to be The Police in this town.

Because even if you are not proactively Policing, you do not want Ms. Foxx to be your State's Attorney. In simple terms, we are all citizens in this city as are our families and friends. If that office goes to Ms. Foxx and Ms. Preckwinkle, the bad guys will have no fear of prosecution. Ms Preckwinkle has stated many times her feelings toward the Police and her belief that Police engage in unfair prosecutions of Black and Brown individuals. She does not let the fact that the victims are also people of color; get in the way of her dislike of Law Enforcement. Think carefully and VOTE wisely.

Maybe if Rahm hadn't defunded the mental health clinics, we wouldn't have come to this...

In my opinion, the baseball bat wielding crazy dude's death falls squarely on 9.5 finger's shoulders. Apparently he thinks having some new B.S order written will be just the smoke and mirrors needed in order to ensure nobody puts 2 and 2 together.

We need Public Service announcements saying that if one is prescribed bi polar or psychotropic meds, one must stay on it, unless advised by their doctor or nurse who is treating them. Also public service announcements not to hurt people with baseball bats, etc. How to resolve conflicts without violence, using words. Not to threaten police. Etc.

Guys the graphical representation of your concern is a bucket of bolts. At some level makes my mouth hurt from ascending Buffalo Wild Wings wings too fast.
