IL Connection to VA Killing

  • A 34-year-old ex-convict from Aurora was at a Greyhound bus station in Richmond, Va., en route to Chicago on Thursday when he suddenly pulled a handgun and fatally shot a Virginia state trooper before other troopers killed the gunman, authorities said.

James Brown III, who had a long criminal record in Kane County, shot Trooper Chad Dermyer, 37, several times after the two had a brief encounter, Virginia state police said Friday. But authorities gave no motive for the shooting. Dermyer was taking part in a counterterrorism training exercise with 16 other law enforcement officers at the bus station, state police said.

An aunt with whom Brown had lived, reached Friday evening by the Beacon-News, said her nephew was wary of police and speculated he acted impulsively. Edith Brown, of Aurora, believes James Brown was worried he would be caught with a gun that he, as a felon, wasn't supposed to have.

"He did not want to go back to prison," she said of her nephew, who spent much of his adult life behind bars. "It wasn't like he didn't like (police officers). He didn't like to interact with them."
Dope dealer, felon, gun offender, woman-beater, loser. Rot in Hell.

Deepest sympathies to the Virgina State Police on the loss of their brother.

Its not like he didn't like the police, he didn't like to interact with the police. Its not like he was turning his life around, he had a gun with him, he was worried he would get caught with the gun, but he should not have had a gun. Wow, just wow, what can a normal person think of this.

It's the police fault that poor Jimmy is dead. If only they had not been at the bus terminal poor Jimmy would not have been forced to pull the gun, he wasn't suppose to have because he is a felon, and shoot at the police.

Now where is the call for more background checks? Because that would have prevented poor Jimmy from getting a gun.

For me to call you one of the least intelligent people I have ever met would be an understatement but if I said that under the current climate of political correctness I would be branded a racist. Well if speaking the truth can brand you as a Racist, it is a "badge I will have to wear proudly".

Auntie trying to smooth it over, but...

"A relative described the shooter, James Brown III of Aurora, Illinois, as an ex-con who 'always liked the criminal side.'

"'He had a lot of anger about the police in the past,' said the gunman's aunt, Edith Brown, in an interview with CBS 6 Friday.

"'He pretty much thought he wanted to be infamous... in terms of having a showdown. He always praised those people who got into shootouts with police,' the aunt said.

"'He said he would never go back to prison again,' Brown said of her nephew, who was also killed in Thursday's gunfight at a Greyhound bus station in Richmond.

'He would fight it out with them.'

"Chief Alfred Durham said Thursday that the gunman had a criminal record but did not elaborate.

"Court records obtained by CBS 6 showed Brown had been charged with murder, intent to kill, aggravated battery with a firearm, failure to obey police, resisting a corrections officer, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, aggravated battery of an unborn child, numerous drug charges, intimidation, domestic battery, felony possession of a weapon, among many driving charges, the station reported."

Illinois and Chicago does an outstanding job of exporting violent residents who spread their violence both near and far. Just last week two "honor roll students" originally from Chicago shot and killed a pizza delivery driver for just $10 and some pizza in Georgia.

The media only wants to say he had a criminal past, let's take a look at what the media calls a criminal past.

Court records obtained showed Brown had been charged with murder, intent to kill, aggravated battery with a firearm, failure to obey police, resisting a corrections officer, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, aggravated battery of an unborn child, numerous drug charges, intimidation, domestic battery, felony possession of a weapon, among many driving charges.

Sounds like a guy getting his life together, just a little misunderstood. Great reporting as usual. If the rolls were reversed the media would have his grade school discipline record, home address, family member names, and his kids schools listed.

War on Cops: Law-Enforcement Deaths by Gunfire Up by 150% This Year

by Lee Stranahan2 Apr 2016

The number of police officers killed by gunfire in the line of duty this year is up 150% according to the Officer Down Memorial Page, a website dedicated to chronicling the deaths of law-enforcement officers.

March was the deadliest month for police deaths so far in 2016, with a total of 16 law-enforcement officers killed. Five of those March deaths were due to gunfire.

Although the overall death total is down 3% from 2015 and the same period this year, the jump in gunfire related deaths is alarming, especially given the constant barrage of anti-police rhetoric by leftist protest groups, including Black Lives Matter.

Some of the deaths appear to be directly traced to animosity towards police. For example, the recent murder of Virginia state police trooper Chad Dermer at a Greyhound bus station in Richmond on March 31 was committed by a man, James Brown III, whose ex-girlfriend told the Associated Press“frequently expressed his hatred towards the police.”

As Breitbart News reported, the Black Lives Matter movement in Minneapolis recently carried out protest action in March that ended up in front of a local police station, where protesters burned the American flag. That protest came after the state of Minnesota announced it would not be seeking criminal charges against two police officers who were involved in the death of convicted criminal Jamar Clark.

But did you hear the Trooper's boss commenting on what happened? He said it was during a training exercise when the trooper noticed "suspicious" behavior--and the troopers are trained to "engage" with the individual, talk to him, find out what was going on. That's what the trooper was doing when he was executed.

Was it reported why James Brown went to Virginia? Did the thug know officer's were gathering at Greyhound? If so, was his appearance the reason he was armed...and dangerous.

Considering his vast offences, it's unbelievable the murdering a-hole was walking the streets, let alone out of the state. No probation?

Man who live-streamed his own shooting is a convicted murderer who was gunned down as he visited his mother who lives 'in rival gang's territory in Chicago'

* Unidentified man stands outside a closed convenience store he jokes is about to be opened to give him 'somewhere to duck and hide for cover'
* Suddenly he slumps to the [ground] after being shot by the assailant

11:22 EST, 2 April 2016

"The mother of a 30-year-old Chicago man who was shot while posting a video to Facebook on Friday says she cried when she watched the footage.

"The mother, whose identity has not been released, recalled seeing her son on the ground following the shooting.

'I seen my baby lying on the ground,' she tearfully told the Chicago Tribune before saying she watched video of the event just hours after the shooting.

'Oh my God, no,' the mother could be heard screaming in the harrowing video.

'No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. ... Oh my God, I don't believe this. I don't believe this,' the recording continues.

"Looking for a place to hide: The unidentified man wearing a White Sox cap says he needs a convenience store to open to give him 'somewhere to duck and hide for cover'

"The mom told the Tribune that prior to the shooting, her son who was visiting from out of town, met her at a gas station near the corner store.

"She said her son got a phone call from a friend and he agreed to meet the friend around the corner where he was shot.

"Anthony Guglielmi, the Police Department's chief spokesman, said on Friday that the shooting may have been a retaliation against the victim who was convicted of murder in 2009 or if it was gang related. Police also said they are confident that the video is not a hoax.

"In the video the unidentified man stands outside a closed convenience store he says is about to be opened for him to hide in, at the intersection of 56th Street and Hoyne Avenue...[he] jokes that it needs to open to give him 'somewhere to duck and hide for cover' in the West Englewood neighborhood which is populated by gangs..."

So, what's with this? About six years for murder, and right back out there duckin' around?

The Great Wheel Of Death continues to revolve.

'We fired 56 rounds yesterday until this threat was eliminated': Two men walking around with a rifle and handgun, who were killed by Baltimore police, were father and son

*Matthew V. Wood Jr, 43, and his son Kimani Johnson, 18, were shot and killed by Baltimore police on Thursday
*Wood and Johnson were armed with a loaded semi-automatic rifle and a loaded handgun in broad daylight while walking toward a crowd
*The officers fired 56 rounds into the men, who both had a criminal record involving guns
*It is unclear what their motive was but it is suspected they were affiliated with a gang
*The officers were placed on administrative leave, which is standard in a fatal shooting
*One of the officers, Sgt. Joseph Wiczulis, has been involved in two fatal shootings prior to this one

"'If not for the The Baltimore Police Department yesterday, we could have had a mass shooting on our hands, where several innocent lives could have easily been taken.
