Back in 1977 I was in a motorcycle crash on the Calumet Expressway. Was rear ended by a drunk driver. Flipped me end over end and I slid on the pavement for what seemed like a mile. Lot's of road rash but I was fortunate to not have been run over by oncoming vehicles or suffer broken bones. I woke up the next day in the worst pain of my life. Best wishes to the PO.

SCC:

Off topic:

In Feb. 2015, Mike Madigan filed HB 1016 to make technical changes to the Environmental Protection act. The last action on it was April 2015. That was until yesterday after the House adjourned when Amendment 1 was entered by Rep. Willis in response to Gabby Gifford's recent anti-gun speaking tour in Illinois. More sneaky tactics from our illustrious Speaker.

Amendment 1 changes everything. It is now a Gun Dealer Licensing Act. It would impose a mountain of red tape on gun dealers throughout the state. Here's a link to the amendment:

http://ilga.gov/legislation/fulltext.asp?DocName=09900HB1016ham001&GA=99&SessionId=88&DocTypeId=HB&LegID=85495&DocNum=1016&GAID=13&Session=

There's about 21 proposals, all of which do nothing to reduce crime. But all of which are intended to drive legitimate gun dealers out of business.

Here's the thread on Illinois Carry: http://illinoiscarry.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=61494

You can read mauserme's bulleted list to get an idea of the stupidity. At the appropriate time---soon--- witness slips against this foolishness would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Barricade at 104/Union over, after +10 hrs. gunfire exchanged, negotiation attempts, family members trying to communicate, flash-bangs and tear gas lobbed into house, and as the hours went by no response of any kind, police entered and found subj. unresponsive. Apparent GSW, possibly self-inflicted.

...and some woman reportedly screaming from crowd, "Let him live!"

*

Where was she when this fool apparently murdered three people?

Let's think about this for a second.....

Who really wants any Command staff anywhere near them off duty?????

No thanks. Can't say I care for most of them on duty.

As for motorcycles, they are like guns, booze, or tattoos, they are not for everyone but everyone is entitled the choice.

Obviously none, unless its a gang banging thug they hide, the real leaders are gone but not forgotten, the way we are treated is ridiculous and you expect a member of that gold star glee club to show up?

I brought Gary up to honor his life and death and it should be plain to see that the post I attached it to had to do with an MCY accident on the Calumet expressway as was his. See the connection? I too, rode with Gary. 'Nuff said.
