Lured to Death?

  • Day after day, 16-year-old Victor Felix and his longtime friends would sit and chat on the front porch steps of the Southwest Side apartment building where his grandmother lived. At 6-feet-3 and 200 pounds, Victor towered over the group, which would joke around for hours.

On Wednesday, with their legs propped up on the porch's railing, Victor's friends remarked how the afternoon could have been "another normal day" if not for his absence, and the heart-stopping phone call they received just hours before.

Victor died Wednesday morning after he was shot in the West Elsdon neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said. The teen, of the 4000 block of South Albany Avenue, was pronounced dead at 9:18 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
And how did this happen exactly?
  • Morales wasn't certain of the details surrounding Victor's death, but said his wife, Victor's grandmother, dropped Victor off at school Wednesday morning. Morales thinks Victor was "set up" by a different group of friends, who asked Victor to accompany them on a trip to a corner store before shooting him.

"I think those friends turned on him," he said.
Nice "friends." So, it's a conspiracy of some sort. A few people ought to be going to jail over this one.

Remember this crime (and nearly 70 others this past weekend) when you hear that "police are the problem."

Obviously a score had to be settled. So, it use to be, back in the day, when you had a dispute with someone, you would settle it after school in the school yard with your fists. Times have changed.

Victor undoubtedly violated some sacred clan or group taboo and had to be made an example, that or he was found to be a snitch. Sometimes execution is the only alternative. It's street law, and is enforced.

The murderers were not heard to say, "Leave the gun, take the cannoli."

Friends?

I guess someone really wanted the corner that he was not conducting any illicit business around?

Don't tell anyone, but it was a death squad made up of CPS teachers and union reps.
They heard he supported increasing their pension contributions in the next contract.

Odds of solving that crime without a wrongful conviction.......... 15 percent. Odds of getting a drug pinch with a conviction are greater than that

They are killing each other for what exactly? Why? This may appear to be harsh or cold but, it is not my fault or my families fault or my races fault.

Stay fetal...

It's what they want.

Grandpa interviewed on Channel 7 news at 5 PM said "He was an asshole, but he was our kid."
That comment was not aired at 5:30 or 6:00. Grandpa was denying gang involvement when comment was made. Played it back 5 times to make sure I heard it right.

If he really was a good kid, then he was setting a bad example for the other kids in the neighborhood. He should of moved to the suburbs is he wanted to be clean and good.

A gentle giant victim of a premeditated murder by his friends of color? Nary a mention by the media. Just more Lord of the Flies.

A gentle giant who just committed a strong armed robbery and then feloniously attempted to disarm and kill a white police officer and the media whips up a frenzy to lynch the copper. Look! Look over here!!!!

Does anyone see what the controlled media is doing? Has the Nation been dumbed down to such a pathetic level that they can't see this?

And, the only neighborhoods they'll be in are ones of color.
