Now, CPD has had plenty of bad experience with former NYPD personnel. And we've got a jagoff for a mayor, too. So the chances of him actually landing in Chicago are less than zero.
But it would be interesting to see McCompStat leave town.

Given some of the political connections, I could see Rahm O' Lannister getting Bratton as a consultant, maybe even without the feds putting a gun to the Mayor's head. If Rahm wants to go any higher up the foodchain, he needs to make a big show of TRYING to rein in the carnage. Even a marginal improvement would help his chances for a third term with the brain-dead liberals. If he runs again and wins, he's in the on-deck circle to get tapped for a Cabinet spot in 2020, regardless of this year's results for the Demonrats.
Labor Day weekend will probably be Special Ed's last hurrah. Unless there's a Biblical rainfall event to keep people off the streets, August will probably see 70+ homicides and another 400+ shootings. Labor Day weekend? HJ's numbers for most holiday weekends so far this year have equalled the combined totals of either '13-14 or '14-15 - not very hopeful.
The City Hall Spin Machine is out of ideas, out of excuses and damn near out of time. Bratton's resignation from NYPD takes effect in September, right about the time the surviving taxpayers (might) start gathering the torches and pitchforks. Will Bratton be the next Super? I don't know about that, but I strongly suspect EJ will gone by Columbus Day.

Have you ever met a police chief or superintendent that everyone liked? I don't think so. They are political animals who must tow the city hall line, whether they believe in it or not. They are not hired to be leaders, but managers and administrators and they act like it. I can go back a long way and the only superintendents that actually were well thought of were Rochford and Rice.

(OT) Now raising utility tax and alderwhatever complaining his "community" can't afford it! Ok George the city gets over 200 million in sanctuary city payoffs from the federal government the people are finally getting smart and will be pulling that money away soon maybe it could be repurposed into pension fund that is winning illegally here goodbye we are on the way to solvency!

Huma Mahmood Abedin (Hillary's aide and lover) might have dug him up for this. Her family has very strong connections to the Brotherhood.
