Wait....There are Rules?

  • In an effort to set the record straight, organizers of the Bud Billiken Parade held a press conference to address concerns about limits to the number of parade participants.

The event turned chaotic when parade organizers sought to clear the air over restrictions on the number of marchers organizations could have in this year's edition of the Chicago classic.

Multiple people attending the press conference took the podium from parade organizers to voice their opinions.
Next thing you know, there will be rules about driving or not selling dope or shooting 2,500 people in eight months time. Who knew such a racist system existed??!?

Saw that clip on 7 news. One of the loud mouth protesters was Jamaica Greene.

Busy concerned citizen helping out wherever he can.

I never knew the BBP was organized. Never seemed like it was. Wow, learn something new everyday. Maybe Mr. Green can hit a cop at the BBP.

I am in favor of canceling the whole parade. All or nothing. I choose nothing.

Bud Billiken is a historic and classic event (parade) of great national importance. It highlights the Black community and great contributions Blacks have made to American culture and society. Every year it gives Blacks the opportunity to participate and have a safe and rollicking good time. For Chicago, it is a day of good cheer and community togetherness, which hopefully brings in thousands of tourists. Something for all of Chicago to look forward to.

one article reported that for the last TWO years the South Shore Drill Team has been allowed to break the rules and send more people then allowed...and has withdrawn in protest this year over not being allowed to ignore the rules again

Will all the politicians be showing be showing up for the parade hoping to ride on Hillary's pantsuit tails.

Each one of them will have their own security detail.

If anyone sees Father Flakey or anyone else of note get a couple of photos of him and his entourage and please submit them to SCC. Let's see if we can pick out the taxpayer funded bodyguards while our neighborhoods are left abandoned.

Be careful out there

The deep well has dried up and the parade isn't being underwritten by deep pockets this year. So, the parade organizers decided to tighten up and be responsible.

Well, this problem group didn't even send in their application on time. It got there about a month late and they certified on their application that they'd keep the group to a hundred.

Now, they're whining. They were late and ignored the application deadline. Not cool. They can't see their way clear to limit their group size. Not cool. They've been making the rounds of tv shows (where they were suddenly able to choose just a handful to perform) and they're crying to the media about being a 'legacy' group in Bud's parade. They've already lined up two new marching commitments, since they aren't marching in Bud. Seems they're saying they would stiff their two new commitments if the Bud administrators caved in. And that's really not cool.

The new administrators of the parade are standing by the rules. A good lesson for the 'back to school' parade participants. There are rules in school. And in life, as well.

That parade Is out of control, 6 hrs long and violence during and afterwards. We don't have the police manpower, it's ridiculous. The ignorance, screaming and crying, we want what we want!

The best part they don't want any part of Jamal Green, HA,HA. They know an asshole when they see one. It's too bad Jamal's wing bitch Fr Flager Faker was there to get the kiss off too.

Go check out some of those activists pages and read the comments from the "community."
Everything and I mean Everything is the white policeman's fault.
It is amazing the koolaid the community of color drinks.
To equate the rules made by the organizers of the BBP to the fault of whites or the white police is mindboggling.

And Jaymal is mad because they won't let him lead a protest group in the parade.
Hey Jaymal, part of the problem you have is that you don't know how to follow the rules and submit your application along with the application fee by a certain date.
You think you are celebrity in the black community but you just got bitch slapped down. BOOM!

"Organizers of the Bud Billiken Parade held a press conference to address concerns about limits to the number of parade participants."

Let them have as many as they want, let the thing roll all day and all night and into the next day, and let the "community" "police itself." They have guns, they can shoot if someone scratches a car or trips over a lawn sprinkler or something.

"Give them room to destroy." It's official now.

Now they're touting and changing their "rules"?
Very ironic and humorous.

I enjoyed the reporting that BLM and SS Drill Team both submitted their applications to parade several weeks past the due date. Typical, late app, over the restricted amount and complaining about being singled out. One interesting note was that many many many community members don't want BLM taking over their back-to-school parade.

If you work this parade you're crazier than puppy shit. I for one will not be in attendance at any cost. Send a supervisor to come and check on me, I will be sick that day and any other day they come up with some crazy bullshit.

Questions:

Will the Jesse White Tumblers be issued soft body armor?

Or have they been taught some safety tricks on how to tumble faster to avoid the incoming or stray rounds?
