#3,000

The counter at HeyJackass.com has the total number of people (and folks) shot standing at 3,000 this very morning.

Congratulations Chicago.

Thanks have to go out to McCompStat for setting the stage for this disaster. And Special Ed for backing off the iceberg and then hitting it again, allowing liars and cheaters to get spots that should go to deserving people, but instead, further corrupt and degrade the Department. With leadership like this, we're sure to reach port safely.

And where would we be without the ACLU? And the DOJ, can't forget the DOJ. And all those who demonize the police without any idea of what they're talking about - "Pfather" Pflaky, Jesse, IPRA and those idiots with their "every cop is racist" report, the media, etc.

And finally, the Captain of this sinking vessel, a man who needs a milk crate just to see over the tidal wave of corruption, a guy who never met the underside of a bus he couldn't shovel someone under (even if he needed a jack to raise the bus a little bit higher), the 9.5-digit-midget himself, Rahm.

He has brought a tone-deafness to the mayor's office unseen in history. And now, he has a shooting total that rivals that of an actual war. He took the "Second City" and made it "Number One!" with a bullet....or a lot of bullets we suppose.

Well done Asshats!

Nice job Rahm and the silly "compstat" suck holes! Great idea crushing manpower along with morale too. Thanks for letting these store front fake religious fools control you just to get their peoples "possible" votes, so you can stay in power. Thanks for sacrificing the future and greater good of Chicago for your self gain. Who will want to move or build a business in Chicago with a shit police department? How's that BS antiquated residency requirement working out? Maybe it's time to lift it, so Chicago can attract better and most definitely more applicants. At least shorten the time required to live in Chicago and maybe the city can get a slightly respectable pool of candidates. SOS!!!

Kass wrote a poignant article on this yesterday.
He talks about total amount of shootings not just the homicides.
Sometimes I like Kass, sometimes I don't but it was quite the informative column yesterday.

We have the most beautiful city by far, but because it seems that no matter where you go in it now, you can expect to become another victim of its violence, I refuse to come there and enjoy the things I used to. I by no means am wealthy, but once in a while love to go to certain ballets, or look at the windows at Christmas time, or once in a while go to lunch at the Walnut Room. But now I'm too terrified to either drive, for fear of getting shot, or robbed, and shot once I'm there.

What ever happened to the DOJ?

I guessing they are cutting and pasting that rehash report they pass out at every town that is mismanaged.

And IPRA keep the goof that has no clue and fire by attrition a bunch of college graduate who could not investigate a traffic accident.

Well I am off to study the new general orders special ED believes will fix the world. It will only take me about 2 hours which no Supervisor will let me do on company time. I think of them as direction to find the bus i will be under. I love when they add the line supervisor will not have to obey this order or they will not be held responsible.

And no people can resist and I can't use my baton great....

Someone ought to ask Eddie The Over Sight King of What's Right Burke who had a long standing spot on the "Budget Committee" why the Pension Contributions were ignored of pushed aside for so many years. He was oh so concerned about horse shit on the street from the horse drawn carriages that he stood tall in the council but now makes a timid appearance to beg for money for bandages for gunshot victims certain to bring lawsuits if a life or limb is lost. How about a life saving bandage to save the pensions Eddie, the pensions you and your De LaSalle buddy "Richie I don't know do you know ?" ignored while handing out contracts to the loyal contributors.

CHICAGOLYPSE NOW

Chicago . . .

Shit. I'm still only in Chicago. Every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the jungle. When I was home after my first tour on midnights, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle. I'm here a week now. Waiting for a mission. Getting softer. Every minute I stay in this room, I get weaker, and every minute the Amish squat in 011, they get stronger. Each time I looked around, the walls moved in a little tighter.

(FADE IN: Lobby of the Hyatt Regency. Two CPD Inspectors enter the elevator, exiting at the sixth floor and walking down the hall to Willard's room.)

Willard (V.O.) Everyone gets everything he wants. I wanted a mission- and for my sins, they gave me one. Brought it up to me like room service. It was a real choice mission . . . and when it was over, I'd never want another one.

(The Inspectors knock on the door, and then knock again.)

Inspector: Officer Willard, are you in there?

Willard: Yeah, I'm coming.

The door opens and the Inspectors barely conceal their shock at his condition. The Lead Inspector enters the room.

Lead Inspector: Are you Officer Benjamin Willard, District 11, 1st watch, assigned to tact?

Willard: Affirmative. Hey, buddy, are you gonna shut the door?

The other Inspector enters the room and closes the door behind him.

Lead Inspector: Officer, we have orders to escort you to 35th Street.

Willard: What are the charges? What did I do?

Lead Inspector: There's no charges, Officer. We have orders to escort you to a CompStat Intelligence briefing at Headquarters.

Willard: CompStat? What do they want with me?

Lead Inspector: All that will be explained to you downtown. Come on, Officer, you still have a few hours to get cleaned up. We'll get you into the shower.

Willard: I don't feel so good.

Lead Inspector: Dave, give me a hand here, we got a dead one.

(The two Inspectors drag Willard into the shower and turn on the cold water. Willard's eyes snap open and he yells as they start cleaning him up.)

Willard (V.O.) I was going to the worst place in the world and I didn't even know it yet. Weeks away and hundreds of blocks down south and west, leading me through the war zone like a main circuit cable that plugged straight into Kurtz.

It was no accident that I came to be the caretaker of the memory of Captain Walter E. Kurtz, anymore than my being back in Chicago was an accident. There is no way of telling his story without telling my own. And if his story is really a confession . . . then so is mine.

Well we had Mr. SIX.

Now we change 9.5 to Mr.3000..........
His hits just keep on coming, my family believes that this is happening due to his lying
about McDonald/Van Dyke shooting. The young thugs know it's time to run the city just
like Capone and Obanion did in the 1920s

They further feel hiring new cops will take until 2018 to get manpower back.

But we all know Mr 3000 will never take responsibility

I want to thank the Academy for this award, especially those of you on the south and west sides ( and you know who you are boo), for making this even remotely possible. Never in my wildest imagination did I think this could be accomplished. From the mayor on down to the lowest scum should feel responsible and proud. No other city will ever remotely achieve such a fete.
Believe me when I say, I am humbled.

Thank you,

The Once Great City That Was Chicago

If Biebs goes flying down Hermitage in a sports car, stops the sled, and starts whipping tomatoes at his house, effect no arrests.
