Screwing up every assignment she's ever gotten:
- Well has anyone else out there received calls from their units regarding Safe Passage on Tuesday.
Looks like Henny Penney screwed up the order by not having it out before the end of tour on Friday.
So on Saturday they started calling officers to remind them to be in uniform on Tuesday and report
to different locations.
Guess with all attention toward Overtime for VRI. Penny forgot all about school on Tuesday.
I know a few Bosses read the blog so why not ask yourself why did Penny resign or get stripped
a as a District Commander? Why did they reassign her to HQ? This is what you get for merit promotions.

They did the same thing last year. HQ is more disorganized than you think. Different DOGs, start times, watches, buearus, furloughs, time due, medical, etc. Its set up to fail anytime they need to organize themselves. Think what it looks like when there is a protest or video release and only a handful of po's and Sgt show up. I'm glad I was sent back to the district.

In just about every other police department in the country, she'd have been fired after the sexual harassment incident, or the child abuse incident, or the praying in the lockup with prisoners incident, or the numerous hostile work environment complaints, or just for general incompetence. Instead, she gets an appointed rank and makes life miserable for everyone, yes everyone, from Ed on down.
Special events was fucked up before she went there, it's really fucked up now. Orders used to come out weeks or months ahead of any major detail or event. Now just days (or day) ahead, if that. I can cite examples of festivals, fairs, etc where the district had to scramble for bodies on day of because of incompetence.

Failure to plan is a plan to fail. Bounce those responsible for this crap now--and that includes her boss.
It wasn't just her, a lot of districts missed the Admin Message on this because they cut out early. Desk crews on afternoons saw the messages in three districts I know and let it go so the office crew finally gets burned for the early ducks. Idiots should know better and leave one person behind to handle possible last minute stuff like this, or phone calls during business hours.

That was when they had REAL police officers working - ones that knew what was needed for a situation because they had worked in those situations before. Not a bunch of know-everything, college-educated (?) braniacs who will never be the real police at any time in their career, trying to run a unit that they know nothing about what they'really doing. And it'seems becoming impossible to promote someone because thone eligible are the same dumb ones tryinget to do something that they don't know how to.

IF this is true (and i'm not saying it is or isn't because I wasn't there)....
Why wasn't she booked? Wasn't a CR or w/e obtained against her? If you can' arrest for a non-On Viewed Misdemeanor with nothing more than a Signed Complaint against Dude.....why wasn't Penny hooked up and transported? Let the SAO Decline to proffer Charges...but lock her ass up FFS.

How do you get to remain a Police Officer with a Gun when you have a Court Order of Protection filed against you?
I can lose my 2nd Amendment right if an OOP is filed against me in some states.

How can you be a Cop with an Order of Protection filed against you in Court? And Since when do you need a Boss to approve an arrest? Take the Bitch into a Suburban PD and request to file Charges at that Police Department since it is well known that Chicago Clout is King from K Town.
File Charges in Lake County because you know Cook County will cover.....I'd bet some SAO in Lake would love to make a name off of Penny.
