Anyone get the feeling these "party buses" are a problem? [Sarcasm Alert!]
- Someone fired shots into the air during an argument outside the Rock 'n Roll McDonald's in the River North neighborhood Saturday morning.
Police said groups on separate party buses were arguing with each other when someone pulled a gun and fired into the air about 1:30 a.m. in the 600 block of North Clark Street.
Responding officers found a gun and took a person into custody. Two party buses sat parked outside the McDonald's while some of the occupants were detained.
Might as well ban McDonald's as no one seems to lay a finger on the party buses.

Yeah, fired a gun into the air. Because there aren't any residential units in those high-rise condos surrounding the McDonald's.
And bullets never, ever come down, either.
I have seen on several occasions These party buses driving up and down North Ave and along Division as well.
They don't have a destination just up and down all evening packed to the rim with thugs drinking and smoking weed.
Have witnessed this several times throughout the years.
No real big surprise to hear that happened.
The buses are no more the problem than the guns are the problem. All kinds of normal groups are able to party on those buses every night, drink too much, act like fools and manage to go home without leaving murder and mayhem in their wake.
For the better part of a decade or more - I've driven through River North at late night when leaving jobs in the loop... heading out on the Ontario feeder. I've gone past some low-rise black painted building on the south side of Ontario - looks like a night club of some sort.
I've ALWAYS seen shit going on over there late at night - lots of schmucks that will turn from the middle lane to the far left to grab a parking spot and then get in a fight with whomever they cut off... I've even seen cop cars driving the wrong way (east) on Ontario to go after jagoffs...
I try to drive in the middle lane to leave myself options. But it seems that much of the crap going on down there includes that cesspool club. Connected with an Aldercritter perhaps?
Isn't there any place in the City free of this insanity?
Well in some cultures they fire guns into the air to celebrate weddings. I am sure it was all innocent.

The shooting last week at Buckingham Fountain involved . . . you guessed it, a party bus! Time to start filing charges against the companies and drivers of these rolling shithead bars when their fares get out of control.
I was downtown over the weekend. After 8pm things got creepy, thug life was the demographic. Saw several guns dropping g into pockets and purses. Screw downtown, hello suburbs!
They're nothing but personnel carriers for warring tribes.
It isn't the party buses, it's the occupants.......... Yep, you guessed it, full of Canadians.

Same thing with guns. Guns don't kill people by themselves, people kill people (and folks).
(OT) The democrats are saying they have discovered a "plot to overthrow" our elections for president! Could this be how they will take control of the election machines in order to put lying hillary in office? Everyone knows they are scared of a real American like Trump who supports law and order taking over!

NOTHING good ever happens between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.. EVER. Enough with these drug buses, the "fake" tourists, and the entire mindset of "let's go out and shoot some people and protect our turf." Send every single one of these testosterone filled assholes over to the Middle East. End of Story.
Plus, these shootings been discussed here for YEARS and STILL the higher-ups don't seem to think it warrants ANY EXTREME REMEDIES. So why bother then? Don't risk your life for a job where your higher ups don't seem to give a shit.

That particular McDonald's serves up the best burgers and frys in the state. To eat one or two of their quarter pounders with cheese gastronomic heaven. The frys are to die for.
Can you blame a party bus full of hungry people gravitating to a McDonalds?
It would be nice if the buses were required to have video of everyone entering or leaving the bus. Also also required to cooperate with the police.
I could not imagine being a driver for a party bus loaded with smoking and drinking hood rats who used to be stationary on street corners, now mobile and rolling through the downtown spreading the ruckus.
Don't know how much it costs for a ticket to ride and partay, but after 2 bottles of Henny and some sippin cups, it's obvious all that's left for food is a Mac n' Fries.
Only in Chicago.
The Rahm-hole should have erected a "GUN FREE ZONE" sign on that block- that would have prevented this incident.

This sounds like PC to make sure the party bus is licensed for Open Beverage Containers and all the mechanicals are in working order, just like some cops do with Taxis and Liveries.
Anything slightly out of order...damn....the whole party has to walk to the nearest bus stop without their beverages and if you smell weed, you got PC right there because you are not allowed to smoke anywhere that serves food or drinks. If I recall correctly.
The club on the south side of Ontario Street that attracts all the honor students is operated by the Peszak brothers of Cicero.
