HEY
Don't give Chicago any ideas.
Putting some type of meters in cemeteries might sound like a good new revenue stream. One meter for the City and one for the County.
At this point, I don't see it as being too far-fetched, especially when they depend on the cemeteries in any close elections.
Chicago Policemen.
The bestest, funnest and funniest soldiers
in GOD's earthly army, bar none.
Rest In Peace
Officers...
R.I.P.
Apparently twins...
Both U.S. Army Veterans and C.P.D. Veterans...
Thank-you for your service on both fronts.
I knew the OMalley twins 'on the job.' Worked with Nate in 001 in the 1970's and shared a few brews with him as well. Jack, I believe initially worked South, possibly 009. They were funny and great friends. Glad to see the family honored their sense of humor, even in their passing. Rest In Peace Nate and Jack, Thanks for your service and friendship.
The O'Malley twins were from Visitation Parish. Dad was a Sgt in 007 many years ago. I went to grammar school with them and occasionally would bump into them via the job. I didn't know that both had passed. God bless. Retired 0ld-timer.
Very nice.
Here's a (ebay) link that pictures 'Nate' OMalley when he worked in 001 in late 70's- 80's. As stated earlier, they both were great guys and apparently their sense of humor was forever memorialized in their headstone. RIP you two.

Humor even in death...These must have been 2 funny guys....God Bless'em
If the grave was within the city limits. A citation would have been issued to the expired meter. Maybe the boot as well.
Nice to start my day with a chuckle. That's awesome.
Wow, both so young. Take care of yourselves, live long and soak up those pension checks! Eating well, sleeping well and exercise cannot be avoided.
The thing that struck me though is they were twins(as mentioned above) and both died way too young.
RIP
Yes, I knew them both from the old neighborhood, back of the yards on Racine street, Englewood. We lived near each other until about 1970. They were two great guys both worked as kids at the National grocery store on Racine street. I often wondered what happened to them. No one could say a bad word about them. Rest in peace.

And to you P/O Vince Bonsanto #460, Cook County Forest Preserve Police, known by many 016, 017 CPD, passed away suddenly
25 Aug 17, one of the best and funniest I've ever met....
You are already missed!
RIP, Boomer!
Retired, 30+
Man, they weren't that old.
Do any of the retired people on the blog remember the O'Malley twins? They must have been quite humorous!
Do any of the retired people on the blog remember the O'Malley twins? They must have been quite humorous! I salute them for their United States military service and for their service to the City of Chicago as police officers. May they RIP.
God bless their souls. The sad part is that it appears that they did not have a long life to enjoy their retirement. Could the job have reduced their life expectancy? To the rest of us...enjoy life and do not let the stress of this job eat you up.
Rest In Peace Officers.
Perhaps more last words:
Without ANY PROOF ever provided pertaining any "torture" by CPD Detectives, low energy community activist superintendent Jugghead Special Ed had this to say :
- “We can’t tolerate those things and we simply cannot have those things and have those things occur, so, on behalf of Chicago Police Department, I want to APOLOGIZE to Darrell Cannon and Anthony Holmes for what they went through,” (Johnson said Monday at a press conference)
Yeah, a real stand up guy...especially when it comes to Merit bumps.
His lazy and lackluster career speaks for itself.
Must of been difficult jumping on all those box 2 tact arrests of others.
Rest In Peace Police, more so While On the Job.
(OT) the title should be "again the bosses walked away laughing"
Special prosecutor: More indictments possible in Laquan McDonald case

Is Fat Ed for real, He appears to kiss Rahm' ass as the old comrades of uncle Joe Stalin did..Rahm and Stalin could be blood, before long fat Ed won't get a hello from the midget, Ed has to be one of the most dumbest copper that ever wore the uniform. Fat Ed said he lives by the bible, right !! The bible according to evil Rahm.
You sold your soul fat man and fucked so many good coppers. I don't wish you well, you are a hater and a stooge to the midget.
