We pointed out dozens of articles that showed how Olympics lose money on a constant basis, bankrupting cities, states and saddling future taxpayers with unmanageable debt. The information was all there for the taking, and yet, no one seemed to notice when Shortshanks blew millions on a doomed effort to out-bribe entire countries.
Amazingly, he managed to lose the Olympics with it's crushing debt, and still stuck taxpayers with the Michael Reese debacle and a politically connected suicide.

Amazingly, Daley and Chicago failed to secure the Olympics despite sending the newly elected Barack Obama to woo the International Olympic Committee. Barry showed the world that he was an empty suited and he returned empty handed (much to Valerie Jarrett's dismay) as Chicago was one of the first applicant cities to be eliminated from consideration.
Rahm would promise the winter Olympics in the middle of July.....and the citizens would beleive him.
And today the top Chicago fbi guy talking tough about the "outfit ". Fuckin Daley was the outfit guy....3 2 1 zero will be done.

The site of the former Michael Reese hospital where Daley was pushing for an olympics site is now being pushed for the new Amazon site. If you have ever been to Seattle Washington, home of Amazon, you will find out that they want all employees to live in the city and they provide a lot of really great incentives for them to do so, build a lot of parks and places of recreation along with subsidized apartments. I have a feeling that Chicago has a good shot for this to happen here.

This town has no shortage of money to waste. Look at the failed 250 million dollar Loop-O'hare high speed rail project. It was never built, but the city is still paying interest on that balance years later. Unfucking believable.
