Still Not a Bright Idea (Correction)

Let's combine a few Districts! What's the worst that could happen?

That's what happens when you combine 012 and 013, and pretend you're keeping all 500 cops there by lying to the taxpayers and aldercreatures. Then you let the manpower dwindle to less than what one District had before the merger. Finally, put a degenerate gambling thief in charge to further drive out anyone with actual knowledge of the District.

UPDATE: Our friend corrected the mislabeled heading. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out.

The thief retired. But don’t worry, the wonder boy tac Lt is here and ready to solve all the problems one general order at a time. An inside house mouse yes man as the 012 tac Lt. Worst ever and embarrassing himself. His wife is ten times the copper he ever was or will be... he’s an absolute sissy who is already causing an exodus.

The merger was a stupid move, but when Staples left and Bubblehead replaced her the run for the exits was on. Since both 012 and 013 were loaded with veteran officers, anytime there were bid spots in any halfway decent district, we lost more officers. Hell, so many POs went to 017, it’s laughingly referred to as “13 North” by the alumni of Wood Street who are there.

A big reason for the enormous increase in robbery and burglaries is that but for the beat cars he had to keep up — and he routinely played a shell game having a beat car up but having it be the wagon — Bubblehead all but ignored the area of the district north of Madison. No tact, no mission teams, nothing. On midnights the jagoff left the area with $1M homes with a few beat cars that were routinely sent by the incompetent dispatchers to the farthest south reaches of the District never to return to the 10 or 20 sectors for the rest of the Watch. Squad policing certainly didn’t help, either.

Since that POS Bubblehead went on IOD last August, things improved as the Captain dedicated more resources north of Madison, we got an influx of PPOs and specialized units suddenly were sent in.

Because Chung was a sergeant in 013, there is hope things will improve even more in that area of the District. Hey, we can dream, can’t we?

That area is a no-man’s land. Completely unsafe. Hipsters and yuppies are now paying dearly for allowing Rahm and the Bronx Ball Bag to bullshit them and take their police away. Way too big of a geographical area for one understaffed, giant district. Gridlock. The police cannot get anywhere fast. The travel times for the few police assigned there make response times awful. Wouldn’t it be nice to see that kind return on our Pension investments. And it’s no accident that property taxes have risen accordingly.
Feral rotten Chicago, it mayors past and present along with 48 AlderThieves have to be proud of their accomplishments.

Big money saving fleece by combining facilities.
Where was the ballot referendum on that?
Remember when 013 residents were all up in arms about the move.
Maybe a couple hundred and small businesses too.
That protest went nowhere.
But on the other hand, a community group of 10 from the other side of the tracks can squawk and get demands met instantly.

012 really went down hill with the pandering introduction of social justice under libtards JPud & S.A. Alvarez.
As I recall the CPD-UIC both were allowed to operate as law enforcement agencies and even with all the ABLA buildings fully occupied there was less crime. Not many bs complaints from the community either.
With all the shit it had throughout the projects and in Pilsen, it wasn’t as bad as it is today.
Elected officials and professional instigators were allowed to control and make the police the enemy.

012 at one time was blessed with some mighty fine old school Police Commanders.
There was a good balance of old timer PO’s and hard chargers, but that began to fade fast as pandering became more prevalent.
The whole problem of lawless feral violent crime “CAN BE SOLVED IN A WEEK”.
But not under the vague, faint leadership of The Right Man for the Right Time™ or similar.
Just back the old regime savvy in the likes of Moe, heck even settle for The Chizler.

Nonetheless, Stay Fetal 012 (& 013)... it’s their problem not yours.
Keep the GOCR’s coming.

The only closure that made sense was 021, the building was a falling down dump". Violent crimes in the last few days on BT 1621and 2011 because of lack of manpower,

And another bright idea, rahm is building massive new schools, like the 1 that he snuck in on 65th near harlem, spending billions but yet the fibune is finally getting the game:

Can these Chicago high schools survive?

Students offered fewer choices, resources in more than a dozen near-empty schools

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-met-chicago-schools-enrollment-decline-20171129-story.html

Who is getting paid off? What is the "buy in" for the elected? Rahm closed at least 54 schools already due to massively declining enrollment but yet is building more!He closed almost all the mental health facilities now we have so many "crazies" running around everywhere causing chaos and mayhem but yet rahm thinks him and the rest of the clan the democrats are the smartest in the room!

God bless the thin blue line it is going to get worse before any improvement! It is not racist when you see all the carjackings, and shootings, robberies murder and mayhem and look at statistics and notice the greatest percentage of criminals are the "black problem!"

Crime is out of control in Chicago, people are being slaughtered in the streets, carjackings are putting law abiding families in great danger and now children are being accosted near their schools by “stranger danger”. What does rahm do to protect the citizens, he makes a big media splash about building a high speed rail to O’Hare. A system that would cost tens of billions of dollars and which would cut the trip by only twenty minutes. Is this Napoleon nitwit that incompetent that he totally disregards his responsibilities to the citizens by rehashing a Daley project that makes no more sense now then it did back then. I guess crime does not matter to him or his family, as he has his detail
chauffeuring his wife and kids everywhere they go in the city. Maybe he is the real crime in Chicago!

The flight of P.O.s from 012 began well before the end of Staples’s tenure. There was one month where PAR forms were flying up stairs, word is at least 30 coppers tried to get out of New Super 012 in one period alone. At least 100 officers left during the Staples regime alone. That was unheard of in old 012, because no one left unless they were getting a unit or a promotion. No one was interested in making McCarthy’s “more with less” work, when it’s at the expense of the officers actually working the streets there, compromising officer safety by decimating numbers. Same thing happened in the 019/024 merge, we heard.

Not to mention, now citizens have to wait longer than ever when they call for the Police for help.

On many occasions, an officer will have to drive 4 miles to a Priority 1a call, since all the other cars are down on assignments in what has become the Perpetual RAP of 012.

Just things I hear from guys on the watches, floating around the halls of the new Super 012.

Way off topic but my wife and kids flew into O'Hare Sun night and did not see ONE CPD Officer but a ton of those Aviation Goofs sitting around unarmed protecting terminals. The scary thing was in absolute chaos a whole Platoon of CPD distracted directing traffic while the imbecile traffic aides leaned on railings being...DUMB. Shouldn't the rolls be reversed, if not fire the incompetent and make it a CPD OT initiative. Why let the patronage goofs of Aviation and OEMC do nothing while terminals of the real police are taken from their duties of actually deterring a terrorist attack?

Giving this one a bump into a different topic because my reply didn’t go through the first time, but, to our weary traveler who didn’t see any CPD when he came through O’Hare on one of the busiest travel days of the year...yeah, our bad. With approx 250,000 passengers coming through that day, we must’ve missed you and your party. It’s all on us. Next time, give us your flight info and we’ll meet you at the gate and escort you to your ride. Do you want us to carry your luggage too? Considering that the traffic in/out that day was pretty solid for about 10 hrs, backed up to where I-190 splits from I-90, there needed to be more traffic control than the TMA’s. Had you had such an issue, you should’ve asked for a supv. The LT and D/C were out there. You know what? I’ve never worked in Vice or Narcotics, but I’m going to make some suggestions to them on how they should do things.

And why would any savvy home buyer jump in on that
"Junque Moderne" knocked-together bullshit that goes
up cheaply, quickly and cheerfully?

Saw the same bullshit before the last
real estate blow-up too...

"Get'um While They're Hot!"

Hell... A house-brick ain't even a house-brick
anymore. This new construction stuff is blown so full of air
bubbles/inclusions and over the last 20 years or so, lumber
is so weak and full of knots that it NEEDS metal bracing
to be sufficiently load bearing.

Just look at the studs, joists and masonry of a circa 1920
building versus the cheap shit that went up prior
to the last bubble.

You have to wonder how bad the next "contraction"
is going to be.

Again... The only people who'll get hurt are
the people who did everything right and played
by the rules.
