Talented Feet
A tourist FROM Chicago experiencing something tourists TO Chicago haven't....at least to our knowledge:
- A homeless South Florida man with no arms has been charged with stabbing a Chicago tourist.
Miami Beach police say 46-year-old Jonathan Crenshaw held a pair of scissors with his feet and stabbed 22-year-old Cesar Coronado just after midnight early Tuesday. The Miami Herald reports that Crenshaw is a popular fixture in the area, known for painting on canvases along a trendy spot in South Beach.
According to the arrest report, Crenshaw says he was lying down when Coronado approached him and punched him in the head. Police say Crenshaw stabbed Coronado twice and fled. A friend who was traveling with Coronado said they asked Crenshaw for directions when he suddenly jumped up and stabbed Coronado in his arm. He was taken to the hospital.
Might be self-defense if the homeless guy is telling the truth. The alleged victim should be embarrassed to admit a homeless guy with no arms stabbed him though, especially if he had just punched him in the head.

Just visualizing this event happening is sick.
Nothing surprises me anymore.
Crenshaw wins, hands down.
I read this and it reminded me of a bad science friction
movie. That young man should have to walk thru a Miami
perv carwash where the bodybuilders piss on you as you
walk the line.
No doubt whatsoever that chitown punks were fucking with the cripple.
Doubt = Zero
When ya can't even successfully mug a sleeping, armless, 90 pound homeless guy, ya gotta start thinking about another line of work.
Ya just gotta.
This scary SCC, could this be the armless guy that got Dr. Richard Kimble railroaded for killing his wife in the old "Fugitive" series of the 1960'?
Lt Jarod should be notified.
Enquiring minds want to know !!
To the snowflakes OTJ, Look the series up that played when you daddy was 3 yoa !!
Not surprised at all, Chicago values are hard to forget no matter how far you travel.
A Priest, Rabbi, Pastor, and homeless guy with no arms walk into a bar.......
Sounds like the beginning of a joke
Off topic; if you live on Beat 811, the catalytic converter thieves are back again supposedly they are driving a newer model black Chevrolet Camaro without a front license plate and the only other identifying markers on the car is that it has bright headlights high intensity discharge headlights happening on the overnights hopefully the commander of the eight district will put more cars up on the west end where they belong to catch the thieves. This seems to have Happened every so often they go from the south west side to the northwest side all over the place don’t know if it’s the same teams of them doing it the bigger question is what junkyards are buying these? Maybe the detectives can get involved and investigate the junkyards and find out who are buying them then they can locate the thieves.
But then again is that these are caught with a corrupt cook county justice system they will get a slap on the hands and be out again expeditiously to cause more criminal activity.
And if he attacked police with his scissor feet the headlines would read ‘UNARMED MAN SHOT BY POLICE’!
Like to see a background check on Coronando and his buddy.
YOUTHS love beating on homeless

Sometime the ASPS is your friend.
So, would this be an off-off-off-off-off Broadway musical production of My Left Foot?

Crenshaw says it was Self-Defense. So ya gotta hand it to him... he didn't ask anyone to lend him a hand.
In the end the Long Arm Of The Law reached out and grabbed him.
It's too bad he lives on Hand Outs, he needs a Hand Up.
(okay, that's it, no more puns)
A vagrant and an artist, wow.
Knoc’t up side the skull, while sleeping, on the beach.
His mug shot kinda looks like Rahm, who if not re-elected could find himself somewhere on South Beach.
Edward sissors feer, hope he does not have athletes feet. Ya should have stopped with sissors feet but I had I had to go feet first into the joke.
Modern day Monty Python movie scene!
You've got to hand it to the homeless guy........
At least the homeless guy was able to "arm" himself...
If he took money from the guy he stabbed would they charge him with "armed" robbery? I think that would be insensitive!
He won't have a leg to stand on in court.
Sorry, SCC.
I've looked at the new reports and the videos.
I think you've chosen the wrong side here.
The guy who was stabbed is DEFINITELY NOT a head puncher.
I'd put money on it.
An armless homeless guy might have to be in a high state of defensiveness at all times.
And maybe just a little crazy.
Sorry, I'm not with you on this one.
Have a nice day.
(OT) they are back on beat 811/812 the catalytic convertor thieves are again ravaging this area. The picture is posted on facebook (I know stay off facebook) of a newer Black Chevy Camaro with chrome wheels, and super bright headlights no front license plate visible, but this same Camaro has been involved before and these elusive morons keep doing it and dont get caught!
Calling Captain Ron P. again time to send some cars over here, get off that boat and jump into this boat:

On facebook on the watchdogs and Garfield ridge sights!
No idea who's telling the truth here, but the version where two wannabe gangstas try to pick on an easy target but wind up getting shanked by a homeless guy with no arms is so thoroughly Chicago Values that I'm gonna have to go with that one unless/until the facts change.
Sorry, SCC.

What about this "buddy" that backed up little cesar's story? Would you put money on the "buddy" not being a head puncher? Or head stomper? Or head banger? Hmmmmmmmm......?

1. Method neccessary to accomplish task.
2. Tools neccessary to apply method.
3. Visible and audible effects of applying method.
4. Window of opportunity definition determined by the above three neccessities to accomplish task.
5. Preferred target specs and selection of same to accomplish task.
6. Method used to identify, locate and select target(s).
7. Conversion of swag to cash method(s) may have value to identifying suspected actors, however, as you stated, the solution involved in this method of solving this problem is less than long lasting.
8. Apply the first six criteria to a task quite contrary to the task as defined by these cat converter thieves.
Good luck, Jim.
Cesar = punk
Cesar's "buddy", aka Cindy = ???????
Twinkle Toes = World Class Survivor
Florida = See ya later, alligator.....
Found an article which quotes the lovely Cesar......(no, no link, do your own work)..... Cesar says the oft spoken "why would I do that?" in response to being accused of kicking the sleeping, armless, homeless fellow, at about the usual time of the evening the tourists wander about after getting their booze buzz on......soooooooo.......
Stabbed by an armless man? Pretty funny and embarrassing.
CPD should hire this guy to teach combat skills.
Big deal. I once witnessed a dancing girl in the Philippines pick up and fold a dollar bill from off of the floor. She didn't use her hands either.
People who have lost the use of their limbs often learn to compensate with other limbs.
If you see a person in a wheelchair be cautious of their arms and hands. They can be scary strong.
