Officer Injured

  • Chicago police said an officer responding to a residence was injured and is now in the hospital.

The incident happened in the 7000 block of South Throop.

A person threw an object at the officer who was outside, striking him in the head.

No info on arrests or charges, but does anyone actually trust a Cook County States Attorney nowadays?

If they don’t convict the shithead that struck the officer in the head of attempted murder then perhaps a blue flu is in order. If Foxx can try to lock up a copper without a wink, she SHOULD be able to do the same with some shithead who had clear intent to cause great bodily harm/ death to a cop. If not? Let the community police itself. We are not martyrs. This goes beyond thankless job bullshit.

One offender charged with 4 counts of agg batt to police, another charged with one count agg batt to police and a third charged with two counts of unlawful restraint. Charges approved on all three. Cop hit in the head with a 2x4 board. Allegedly there is a video of it taken by the offenders but I haven’t seen it. We pulled up to the 10-1 a few minutes after and it was pretty chaotic.

Dear Members,

As many of you may have already heard, the jury came back today with a verdict in the case against Jason Van Dyke. It is with great pleasure that myself, the mayor and other command staff members who authorized this case authorized use of force and to be concealed from the public, will not have criminal charges filed against myself or them. U.S. Attorney Gupta and our very own Lori Lightfoot, both who call themselves "Civil RIghts" lawyers, turned a blind eye to our corrupt practices and I am glad to not hear a peep out of either of them. It is a pleasure that KIm Foxx aligned with political allies to further the cover up. In addition, Lisa Madigan is too afraid of Rahm to press charges against all of us so we are more than happy to continue our careers and receive golden parachutes when we someday retire. All four of these attorney are female and in the #metoo movement, it is great to see, as women, they still know their obedient place in Chicago society. We will continue to incarcerate hard working officers while protecting the continued corruption of supervisors. Because the citizens of this city are just plain dumb and ignorant, they will settle for one conviction rather than 10. Good to be a white shirt in these days. I want to thank each and every one of you for your potential to being thrown under the bus at any given time.

Pension board elections in October.
Current , Retired CPD. Research each person running to represent us .
We must elect members that will represent all , protect pension for rookies . CPD should not have a two tiered system .
CPD members that are unable to work must receive duty disability, many are able to work but current rules prevent them from returning to work . Change the rules , require police officers with injuries that prevent them from working a beat car replace full duty officers assigned to clerical positions . We all know Police Officers assigned to clerical assignments that can work a beat car. Allow those on duty disability fill these assignments . Those unable to work because of permanent injuries should receive the 75% , they deserve it .
Take away pensions from those caught scamming our disability pension , but we’re allowed to return to work because of political clout .

Three Chicago police officers were taken to the hospital for medical treatment after being assaulted and locked inside a home by offenders in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Police were taking a person into custody for spitting in an officer’s face about 2:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Throop when another person came up and threw a piece of wood at the back of an officer’s head, according to Chicago police.

The officers chased the person into a nearby home and other residents of the home locked the officers inside, police said. The officers were eventually able to get out and took three suspects into custody.
Senneca Traylor, 19, was charged with four counts of aggravated battery to a police officer and two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, police said. Janice Lewis, 20, was charged with one count of aggravated battery to an officer.

Robert Williams, 28, was charged with two counts of unlawful restraint and one count of resisting or obstructing a police officer, police said.

All three suspects, who live in Englewood, were expected to appear in court for a bail hearing on Wednesday, according to police.

Three officers were taken to local hospitals after the incident before being treated and released, police said. Authorities did not provide details about their injuries.

I’ve been saying this for awhile. Getting charges approved for agg batt to P.O. is cake. That attitude needs to shift and coppers need to start going for the felony. If it’s on body cam, it’s getting approved. Foxx is terrible, no doubt about that, but felony review approves agg bat p.o almost everytime. I’ve gotten rapid approval for spitting, grabbing and mild pushing, the pimpiest shit gets approved.

Charge should have been attempted murder of a LEO. Instead, the S.A.'s office will sympathize and rationalize that the offender suffered toilet training which was too severe and he needs counselling. And furthermore the CPD deserved it for interfering with their criminal activity. Because these offenders were merely socializing. All of these offenders should be removed to the same block where the S.A. lives and then she can deal with them in her neighborhood.

This has special meaning for me, because as a young officer in 002 years ago, I was hit on the head with a bag of garbage thrown from the one of the Robert Taylor project buildings. The bag turned over in flight, and a heavy wine jug came out and hit the window of my squad, instead of my head. Lucky me, unlucky for CPD, because I turned into a real pain in the ass for the Department.
Old timers out there may remember me, Alan (Rev Al) Osborn. I have written a book for and about policemen. You will love it, and may learn valuable lessons from it. I am sending free copies to select FOP Reps and SSC if I can get in touch with him. Ask to see them, or go to Amazon Books and look up "Walking Small."

RULE 1.3: DILIGENCE
A lawyer shall act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client.

Adopted July 1, 2009, effective January 1, 2010.

Comment
[1] A lawyer should pursue a matter on behalf of a client despite opposition, obstruction or personal inconvenience to the lawyer, and take whatever lawful and ethical measures are required to vindicate a client’s cause or endeavor. A lawyer must also act with commitment and dedication to the interests of the client and with zeal in advocacy upon the client’s behalf. A lawyer is not bound, however, to press for every advantage that might be realized for a client. For example, a lawyer may have authority to exercise professional discretion in determining the means by which a matter should be pursued. See Rule 1.2. The lawyer’s duty to act with reasonable diligence does not require the use of offensive tactics or preclude the treating of all persons involved in the legal process with courtesy and respect.

I used Scope of Representation to go after two different lawyers and their firms after they named me in a lawsuit where they should have known the case inside and out before naming me. Both removed me and one stopped working for her law firm.

If they are not charging Battery to.a P.O start slapping them with an ARDC complaint for Misconduct, Diligence, or Scope of Representation. You do it. Dont ask the FOP to do it. Name the assistant, the supervisor, and Kim Fox. You are paying their salaries. Make them earn their fucking pay and to follow the statute.

What lies ahead for Jason Van Dyke — a complicated sentence, an appeal, a distant jail

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-laquan-mcdonald-jason-van-dyke-trial-20181009-story.html

Excerpt:
The officer’s family will have to drive more than three hours to visit Van Dyke in jail. After a four-day stay in protective custody in Cook County Jail, Van Dyke was transferred Tuesday to the Rock Island County Jail in the Quad Cities, where he will be held as a high-profile detainee pending sentencing. The move was part of an arrangement that Cook County has with other jails to relocate prisoners who are high-profile, dangerous or working as cooperating witnesses in other cases, according to Cara Smith, chief policy officer for Sheriff Tom Dart. After he was convicted Friday, Van Dyke underwent a routine psychological examination and was held several nights in a cell at the jail’s infirmary, according to Smith, who said the decision to transfer Van Dyke to Rock Island was based on his high-profile status, not on any threats or concern for his safety. “There were absolutely no incidents at Cook County Jail,” Smith said. “It was completely uneventful.”

The thugs have declared war on the Chicago Police Department. And the ACLU, liberals, Democrats, and Father Faker have encouraged this.

It's time to declare martial law, and reinstate Mayor Richard J. Daley's "shoot to kill" orders from 1968.

The animals who attack Chicago police must be hunted down and destroyed.

You have PAID voting time! Use it for tha

Sorry if this was commented on the blog back in August and I missed it. In case anyone doesn't know, Rauner basically ended Quotas for the CPD in regards to moving violations. Takes effect January 2019. While it doesn't mention him by name, the article brings up a certain bumbling 025th District Commander and how he got the ACLU pissed off with his minimum of 10 traffic stops during traffic missions email. Thanks Escamerit!

Jason Van Dyke was transferred to the Rock Island County Jail today. Tommy says not to worry. No threats or anything like that. Cleaner cells, better food, cheaper room rates. Happens all the time. When he is sentenced to prison JVD may end up serving his time out of state. A federal facility perhaps.

I suffered a TBI in Iraq.. took years to develop but my memory is fucked. I was hired in 07 and was done in 2016. I get full disability from the VA. To any officer who suffers head trauma— get a CT, MRI and Angiogram. Cause bad news can be brewing. I found mine through migraines, I went into the hospital complaining about them and got a CT scan— later on I was told to take it easy cause of high pressure spots in my brain.

The job is not worth a TBI guys...

And can someone tell me why these twinks are getting assigned to places like 025, 016, 017, and even 020. When I came on you got sent to some shithole on the southside on midnights. And you liked it.

Today I didn’t get spit on. Didn’t get knocked in the head with a 2x4. Didn’t get locked in an apartment. Didn’t go to the hospital. Didn’t complete a TRR that might be used against me someday. Didn’t attest to an arrest report that might be used to sue me someday. And at the end of the day I got paid the exact same amount as the PO’s who did go through all of this shit today. Did you PO’s encounter these offenders as they were burglarizing a PO’s house? Did you PO’s encounter these offenders as they were robbing a working woman in the grocery store parking lot? Did you PO’s encounter these offenders as they were in any way offending any form of civility or did you encounter these offenders by doing PROACTIVE POLICE WORK IN THE FUCKING GHETTO??? What the hell is it going to take for you fools to see the light?? Fuck these people who despise us so much. Of course it was some plain clothes (gotta stay on the team and not go back to patrol) morons who got involved in this. And then some poor PO’s who know what time it is are going to be dragged into your bullshit for responding to your unnecessary 10-1. The officer who got hit in the head will be on pain meds longer than the shithead who hit him will be locked up.

If you’re doing proactive police work in the ghetto you are an idiot.

Sorry, I’ve read the Arrest Reports and seen the video. What the fuck is wrong with these coppers? One of these coppers could have been killed all because someone gave a copper the finger and said CPDK. They are words that are most likely protected speech. This is not 1990. Are you not aware of the political climate in this city, county or country? You drive by and wave. It sucks, but to loose your job or life over ghetto nonsense. And yes I’m aware that someone spat on an Officer just prior to exiting his car to conduct an investigatory stop after the above’s action, but in today’s world you just keep driving. And if they kept driving, there was no opportunity to be hit with spit or a 2x4.

Trump never walked Humboldt, Englewood, Lawndale, Uptown, etc. Most politicians don't, but they love to talk tough. Democrat or Republican, Conservative or Liberal, and their rally rhetoric/cries to drum up votes (Look at me I'm tough on crime) will not change our city. Remember, we were to receive "Federal" help ("I'm sending the feds in too clean up Chicago"), and we received a couple of lawyers and a few house mice. It will always be politics and bs, billionaire reality TV personality or career politician. FYI figureheads don't have much power

The problem with your statement, genius, is that it DIDN’T start with them getting spit on. These officers had to APPROACH and CONFRONT in order to get spit on. If you can’t figure that out maybe you should start second guessing.

I would agree with you if the politicians and those making the decisions (i.e. Foxx, the judges)were different. But they are on the side of the criminal in every way. Just look at the ridiculous plea deals approved. If you want to be the next star on youtube and fakebook and possibly lose your job, your money and your freedom, have at it, "be relentless and unforgiving" and be a hard charger that fights back. And will the white shirts back you or throw you to the lions?
