You're Doing it Wrong

When you're turning your life around, it's not supposed to go like this:
  • A man shot four-years ago by Chicago police has been injured again in another police shooting.

Alonzo Smith, 31, was critically wounded Wednesday in a shootout with Milwaukee police. Authorities say officers were responding to reports of shots fired, when they say Smith shot at them. Officers fired back, critically wounding him.

Several guns and a knife were reportedly found after the shooting.

Smith has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

He reached a $180,000 settlement with Chicago after the shooting in 2014.
Any chance we can get that $180,000 back?

This terrible m/fer managed to get his ass
shot by CPD, win a ghetto lottery settlement
of $180K, move to Milwaukee and continues his
profligate criminal swing-dickery until he
managed to get his ass shot by MPD?

Watch this mutt spin the ghetto lotto wheel
AGAIN and win yet another six or perhaps
this time, seven figure payment to assist
him in turning his life around even faster.

This shit.
Is what "Restorative Justice"

As days go by... We're convinced that
we and many others stood in the wrong line

This shit.
Personifies what we mean when we say
Policing is a nasty, dangerous, thankless,

dangerous, evil, nasty, shit-doo-doo people an' folkses too.

OT: Can anyone shed any light on the umor that a handful of our newest finest, had an offender that they were trying to place in custody and the offender fled to the police car and tried to drive off. He didn't have keys to drive the vehicle off so he locked himself in and when he tried to exit the vehicle to either fight with these new police officers they locked the door and wouldn't let him out. They then called a field Sgt. to assist and the Sgt. had to show them howe to take a shit head in custody. If this story is true and if it in fact happened the way I heard it, the dept. certainly has, Be The Change, well in hand. That policing thing, not so much.

Rahm and his sjw sock puppets have truly neutered the police department and made it into an ineffective joke of an enforcement agency. It's a brave new world. Sir, you're under arrest, No I'm not, bitches, pookie walks off, laughing at these sjw's of change. Sarge, I'm not comfortable arresting this person, what do we do?

Nope.
He will probably get another 180K from Milwaukee since he is obviously being targeted by the police
He is headed for Detroit next. It is a good living being shot by the police if you can stand the pain.

Lawyers and frivolous vexatious lawsuits are ruining this country. In Chicago the politicians are in bed with dubious lawyers and suing the city, especially the Police is a cottage industry, But the citizens keep voting for these corrupt democRATS.

Off Topic
Here is an excerpt from the legal brief filed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions denouncing the Chicago Police Consent Decree:
“At a fundamental level, there is a misperception that police are the problem and that their failures, their lack of training, and their abuses create crime. But the truth is the police are the solution to crime, and criminals are the problem. The results of the ACLU settlement in November 2015, as revealed by Judge Cassel’s study, established this fact dramatically, conclusively, and most painfully for the City of Chicago. When police are restrained from using lawfully established policies of community engagement, when arrests went down, and when their work and character were disrespected, crime surged. There must never be another consent decree that continues the folly of the ACLU settlement.”

Isnt it nice to have someone on the national stage support the police for a change?

I see the FOP is endorsing Carlos “Sal” Saladino for retiree rep. Maybe they should know about how good ole’ “Sal” sued two female Po’s from 017 after they gave his weed head son a break when his weed fell from his sweatpants when they made him shake them out. Getting the “police courtesy” wasn’t good enough for Sal. He sued them saying they strip searched his poor little boy. The officers submitted a contact card and guess who disposed of it? Then Sgt Dave McNaughton who worked with Saladino in 014 thought he would do him a solid and pulled the card so as not to leave a record of a coppers kid getting stopped. Unfortunately when it went to trial McNaughton denied ever seeing the card and the two female officers who gave his kid a break on a weed charge were slapped with $15,000 puntative damages each. Think twice if you think this guy is “for coppers”

Pretty big accusation about suing the police. If true please provide a link to the court case or additional info

All I could find through a quick google search was a comment in the blog archives from 2005 alluding to this lawsuit.

Or anyone else. Let the community sort it out. As has happened in Chicago homicide is down because all the bad guys have killed all the other bad guys.

The homicide rate will be down until the next generation of bad guys comes of age and start the cycle again.

Just let nature take its course.
