I wonder if the new guidelines the S A Kim Fox implemented on felony arrests and charging guidelines and the failure to file charges on nearly every violent crime is the reason behind the crime wave that is bumping up all kinds of property and violent crimes across the city???
I wonder if the spike in crime has anything to do with the low bonds and I-bonds the judges are giving??? Or could it be the Sheriff and his catch and release policy???

Is the CPD correctly classifying all as robberies or are they cheating calling many simple vehicle thefts?
The current map can’t possibly be right. I don’t think a day has gone by in the last six months that there hasn’t been a carjacking in 018 and 001. It must be how the brass asses define “aggravated”.

The map is right... the legend does not tell you that the second map has red dots showing where "MULTIPLE" car jackings have occurred!!!

Not sure where you get your news from but it's been everywhere. It also went nationwide.

One would think these charts and map would and could be a vital referendum on Democrats.

It's weird...it looks like there are more carjackings now, but that can't be right because Fathead Ed just had a press conference saying crime is down...I don't know, I guess I'll just believe the department instead of looking into this.

Might work on the adult offenders. Won't matter to the juveniles, which are the majority.
Can we get the race of offenders as a percentage of the carjackings?
Then can we get the race of victims?
That would be an interesting statistic...
